Once upon a Down Day - JUDDDing with Marge

Hello everyone :D

I thought I would start my shiny new JUDDD diary.

A teensy bit about myself, and my diet history :D

Highest weight, 20st 7.5lbs :eek:
I lost 2 stone of that in the record time of 3 years on WW ;)

At 18st 7lbs, I tried Exante :banana dancer:
And lost 4st 9lbs :D

Unfortunalty, life, a social life, and a new man happened ;)
And I have put back on 2st:eek:

I have been battling with it though, much more consistantly than I was with WW.
I cant stick to the shakes long term any more :(, my head just wont get into it :eek:

So, here I am :D
I started 4 days ago, and as such I am having my second UD today :D
So far, so good :D

I am going to keep with this for a month, to see where I am :)
And of course, those of you who have seen me around the boards, will know, that I will, and already am, going to be exercising to assist ;)

Hello my dear, I'm doing split days where I start fasting at 5pm one day and stop at 5pm the following day, which is working well for me at the mo- making me feel all happy and a touch crazy!

15 lost : 52 to goal
 
Hey Marge I'm new to JUDDD too, day 3 for me today and I'm also going to try doing it for at least a month. Looking forward to my up day tomorrow! :D

I haven't been able to figure out my cals for today, but a similar DD 2 days ago, I know I'm between 500 and 600 cals, so I am happy with that :)
I have found this very easy so far, and I can't quite believe I am on a diet !
I was out for a meal last night. I had a few drinks, as it was a special occasion.
I have no idea how many cals I had yesterday because of it.
Tuesday will tell when I WI :)

Exercise wise I have been good :D, so I'm feeling good :D

UD tomorrow :), but I will be restrained and count my cals to keep on track :)

Old habits die hard eh ? :eek:
I ended up eating bread and butter when I got home last night. 2 slices, on a DD, I dont think thats the way ahead !!
I do, and have in the past, really struggled to not eat in the evening. Most of the time, and last night also, I'm not hungry.
I know its a habit thing, that I need to break.
So, another day to try !!

I will have a very restrained UD today :D

Good job it is an UD... I had 3 slices of toast and porridge this morning, and I'm hungry again now !!
I definately eat when I'm tired, and not had much sleep. It might be an interesting day peeps !! I think I have had 4 hours ish sleep last night :eek:

Don't feel too guilty about bad ups, I had some horrendous ups at the start but it all settles itself before too long xx

Not too sad an UD so far.... About 1500cals ish. Although, I may have a beer or 2 when I get home :)
I'm up too early to have any more though, so I know it won't go beyond that ;)
Maybe even a convivial G & skinny would be more appropriate ;) :D
I shall see what I feel like when I get in :)

I'm trying to keep posting in here, to help keep on track, so all comments welcome :D

Nice to hear from you marge, I have only just joined this juddd thing, but once you get into it it's a revelation!

I had a convivial gin and online tonic, some olives, and few cubes of cheese :), very controlled for me :D

A DD now :), and I am determined to stick to it today.
I have had 25g of porridge, and some homemade celery soup :)
I have some soya mince with veg for dinner, an apple, and a banana. All of that, with 250mls of skimmed milk, I have counted as 552 cals. I hope that's right :eek:
I am happy with anything between 500 and 600 cals :D
I just hope that I don't stray when I get home tonight :)

I had a good DD yesterday :D
UD, today... and so far I have had a 500 ish cal brekkie...
I have a couple of fruit snacks factored in for later...
And I am going to have a lovely salad at work for dinner... so far its working out about 1200cals :D
I feel quite safe in the knowledge that I have a fair few cals to play with if I need to :D
I DO like this diet, A LOT !!
