Exercise..

Hi guys,

Before I started this diet I managed to lose 17lbs myself by eating less and exercising 5/6 days a week. I used a stationary exercise bike at home (to scared to go the gym) and managed to do between 20-30 minutes at mid-high intensity exercise.

The lady at my chemist doesn't really seem to have much info about Lipotrim and exercise combined so I am a bit confused. People have told me not to exercise as blood pressure is low during the diet, some have said that it will effect my weight loss negatively and others have said go for it and even suggested I should join a gym.

So guys.. opinions please?

Hi

Can only give my own tuppence to exercise on LT. I've not done any exercise while I've been on LT. To be honest, I have struggled with energy most of the way through LT and even bending down to put clothes in/out of the washing machine can make me feel light headed. I don't think I could cope with having to think about having to do exercise too. On 450cals/day+exercise I think you would be on a huge negative intake. Some people on here do exercise and seem to be fine. Listen to your body and remember if you are exercising you may not lose as much weight as you may be putting on muscle. Hmmmm now I've said that - not sure if that is true if you're not having calories to build the muscle??? If you were regularly exercising before and feel ok to carry on, do it but make sure you're not going to make yourself so hungry for calories you derail your journey. You body has a lot of stress doing LT, only you will know if it works best for you or not.

Let us know how you get on, whatever you decide.

Best wishes

Thanks Kay,
that's made a lot of sense. I totally understand how you feel, I get lightheaded especially when I get up in the morning. As I only plan on being on lipotrim for a further 9 weeks and hoping to be at my target of 11 stone by then. I think I will leave all exercise out of this diet and start again when I am eating! Hopefully exercising and eating right will help me shift some of the remaining weight before my hols at the end of July.

again thank you xxx

Even though i was overweight i was still an active person. Used to spend an hour and half at the gym 4 days a week!! When i started LT i tried running on the treadmill but felt tired and a little light headed so i stopped. I think its best to keep busy at work/home and to go for long walks now that the weather is nice as well. You'll be burning calories and will be maintaining your physical health :)

Hi, I have now been on lipotrim for 7 months with about 5 re feeds for various hols and events. I have lost just over 8 stone. From the start of my journey I have been exercising. I do Zumba 2/3 wk and swim every wkd. I also try to fit in at least one long walk. I have just over a stone to lose now and think exercise has really helped with toning. Listen to your body but I have always felt so much better after exercise. Good luck x

I've found that trying to do exercise such as jogging is a little too intense whilst been on this diet, I do however spend about an hour a day on my Wii either doing muscle work outs or playing on games such as just dance. This way I get to exercise but only to my limits :) x

Thanks for all your advice and tips guys. I have chosen not to do exercise as I have felt rather week as the time has gone on being on this diet but I do walk pretty much everywhere so I suppose i'm getting exercise even when I nip to the shops? xxx

walking is a good exercise because your burning calories :)
