Lipotrim support & help needed please :)

Anyway I’m currently on my 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] day of Lipotrim TFP and I’m not finding it too hard, everytime I have a craving for food I think if I hadn’t given in to all my cravings beforehand I wouldn’t be on lipotrim in the first place. I drink 3litres of water a day.
Mainly I need support as I’m not really sure what I’m doing my family are not very helpful as they have no idea what lipotrim is and they keep telling me I’ll put back on all the weight & even more when I come off lipotrim & it’s really upsetting. But I’m still going to try my best, it’s nice to be able to read everyones stories on here, for the first time since starting lipotrim I feel encouraged.
I have a few questions & I’d love some advice, support & to hear your personal stories. I look forward to supporting other people on this website and seeing you all complete your goals and looking amazing.
Ok my questions:
Does exercising increase the effects of lipotrim?
Does the more water you drink mean the more weight you’ll lose?
How long to lose 4stone if I stick to it religiously?
Can I get down to my goal weight by being on the total food replacement & then start the maintenance?
Is it really impossible to keep the weight off?

Hi! I'm on day 5 today and its going ok.. Ish!! I miss food terribly and all that it brings.. But understand that it's my addiction and the reason I am here today! My partner is so supportive but I've chosen not to tell anyone else at the moment! I weighed in on my first day as a little over 17 stone.. What a shock!! I'm hoping to get to 14 stone using lipotrim then refeed and go onto maintenance after that to lose the rest and may join slimming world as I think eating wise its the way forward for me! I think any exercise has got to be a good thing! But go steady as energy will be low due to such calorie restriction! I don't think it's impossible to keep the weight off!! At the end of the day if you really wang it to stay off I think you can succeed!! Wishing you the very best of luck and hoping to see lots of you in here as the days and weeks pass! Xx

I miss food too, but i couldn't actually live with myself if i gave in within the first week  haha i'm not finding it too hard if i'm honest, i have my bad moments. it's good to hear you have a supportive partner, i havent told anyone besides the people i live with either that i'm doing lipotrim, i don't really want to hear anybodies negative opinions if i'm honest. I'm incredibly nervous about refeeding & maintenance, i hope to get down to 11 or 12 stone on the lipotrim and then start refeeding. its nice to have somewhere to talk to someone who has started the lipotrim at the same time as me. :) xx

I am on my 2nd day of lipotrim and really looking for support from people that are doing it too, I tried it for 4 days last week and then went out for drinks for a friends birthday and as a result of this ended up eating lots of carbs :(. I now realise you really do have to stick to it properly if you want results, so I am ready. . . 1 question though, does the amount of water you drink affect the weight loss at the end? X

Hi clover :)
I drink 4l of water cos that is what they told me to do but that the water in the shakes isn't counted as part of the 4l. My DH told me last night he will build a shelf in the bathroom for my laptop cos I spend so much time running there now lol
On Day 6 here now and feeling ok x

Hi clovercat thats unfortunate that you ending up having a social event on your first week, don't worry too much about at least you can start fresh. it would be worse if that happened on your 3rd week or sometime really inconvenient like that. yes from all the research i've done & according to everyone here drinking 3-4litres will make sure you're losing weight. i think also the reason for so much water is that you don't feel as hungry and therefore you're less likely to cave in and feast. i know the days i wasn't drinking as much water i almost succumbed to the urge to eat :(although i'm no expert, i've only been on lipotrim 2 weeks this friday & it gets easier...this forum will be your best friend during the time you're on lipotrim. best of luck with it

Your so right with the water im on day 10 now and feeling fantastic!! Its hard in the first couple of days but it definitely gets easier! I drink around 2.5l water a day but I may try up it to 3 soon, I am at the chemist tomorrow getting weighed, I cant wait! Xx

Good luck clover and do true that it gets easier :) x

If you are worried about re-feeding and coming off LT, one of the best things to do is make a plan ready for then.

Have a think about how you were eating before LT, and realistically, how you can adjust that when you come off.

Timing of meals is important. Also, a lot of people skip breakfast and have a carb-rich lunch. Think about what time you go to sleep, and the timing of your last meal and so on. Also, you should keep up drinking at least 2ltrs of water a day. Have a think how you can do that.
f you can put together some sort of schedule after the re-feeding week, it will give you something to stick to and make you more aware if you begin to stray away from it. As sad as it sounds, I spend all evening after work watching cooking shows on TV and on YouTube finding healthy recipes for when I come off. (Did I just admit that? lol)
Main thing is be realistic - but push yourself.

I started about the same time as you, and have spent the last 4 weeks planning my food regime when I eventually come off LT. I'm sure you will be fine and I hope you are getting lots of support :)

All the best!

Hello there, that is brilliant advise and I've realised that's what i will do. I've bought cooking books and a food diary for when i'm on refeed and maintenance. I've already decided i'll do a high protein, low carb diet so i've written lists of the foods i like that i can eat, lists of foods very low in carbs...that sort of thing. I think it's important we all know that educating ourselves and changing our eating habits is the hardest part of our lipotrim journey. I'll definitely be drinking the 2litres of water maybe more.
thanks for your advise and good luck to you too xx

Thanks everyone it really helps having people that can enjoy it with me :) has everyone else been good? Xx

it really does help having people to share this happy buzz with :D i've been good this week, really just trying to not think so much about it anymore, just do my shakes and water and some light exercise and hopefully that will speed up this journey xx

Yeah I do two excercise classes a week, They can be pretty tough but I just take it easy, it keeps me out of the house for two nights and the other nights I just distract myself with hobbies ie. Im making a blanket for my sisters baby (when he arrives) I have also bought 3 items of nice clothing I would like to fit into (abit extreme maybe but its the push I need) xx
