Hiya,

Does anyone exercise whilst on lipotrim? I know you dont have too but I like to try and be active and I wondered if it would affect my weightloss?

Also what does everyone do to try and keep themselves occupied? Iv been playing PC games lol

If you look through the older posts and maybe google it or google vlcd and exercise you'll find some useful information x

i exercised regularly through my wieghtloss last year and it was fine. went to the gym, cycled, walked the dog and ran. all you have to do is listen to your body and dont overdo it. if you feel exhausted youve done too much.

Thanks goose and harriet, iv just started some light weights and checking through all these post :) x

It's quite complex i think.... Theirs a belief it hinfers

Sorry just realised its only half a post!

I was trying to say i think its not as simple really... Somd ppl thibk it hinders their weight loss... I felt the weeks i did high intensity cardio when i previously was on LT my losses were smaller.

However theres the argument of doing it for your general health n if you are losing a lot of weight it helps you tone up i guess

Yea I understand it can hinder with weightloss as you tend to retain water to repair your muscles etc, I have my first weigh in on Thursday so will ask my pharmacist for more information on it. Im just scared of sagging skin lol x

I like to go swimming as it's low impact (I've done a lot of damage to my ankles, knees and hips with my weight) - it really makes make feel good having exercised, starting to feel like a "normal" person again!

Good luck

Glad I spotted this one. Have taken up swimming again (like you Peter, low impact) plus I'm back on a bike. Interesting point about retaining water to repair muscles. Went swimming last night and wonder if that's what was wrong with me when I jumped on the scales this morning?

I'll be taking up swimming again soon. I like it because its an all over cardio work out. I was told by a colleague at work whos in her 5th week of lipotrim, that if you exercise you should drink more water as it helps against the retention so much. If in doubt ask your pharmacist I guess :)
