Trimlee's Sept 2011 trip!

Love God; Love People
Hi folks, I've had a few Lipotrim escapades, but only stuck it out properly the first time so: I'M BACK!
Nutshell: 2008 first time, went from size 18 to size 12. Guess I stayed that size for close to 2 years but the 12s got tight and the 14s came and now -shock horror - it's 16s, aaarrrgh.
Yeah, sure I know how it happened - kinda got comfy thinking my weight just couldn't go up again -how could it? But easing up on the exercise and re-acquiring that taste for mindless sugary, snacky bites and carb-loaded meals and scoffing never did any good!
Well, I tried on and off to eat sensibly and exercise but, goodness, it is so frustrating when the scales just won't budge!
With Lipotrim there are no surprises as long as you stick to it, and it is just great to have weight loss EVERY week; the weigh-ins motivate you to go one more week and then the next, till you get there. OK, I am realistic, I know there are days when it is hard but hopefully the knowledge that my clothes will fit (with no gaping button holes, no zips in danger of ripping and etc, etc!) will spur me on.
Anyway, I've got an 8 week plan and today's day 1.
I'll be reading the diaries of my fellow lipotrimmers -this forum really keeps us going!
Day 1/56, here I go.....

welcome back, i hope this first week goes quickly and happily for you, i look forward to reading about your progress.

Thanks Lilac. Getting to end of Day 1. Tummy feels hollow but I feel good!

Welcome back!!! Hope your doing ok!!! x

Yes thanks Deezer. It feels odd not to be eating but the sense of control is great! I love the fact that there's no element of choice to get into unplanned calories -yay!

Day 2 in the Lipotrim House. Feeling Ok today. Water intake - trying to increase that. A little bit tired but keen to get past the first few days and into ketosis.

Quick question: I really don't want a bad breath at work but have no breath strips. Will chewing gum def knock me out of ketosis (once I'm in anyway)?

Thanks all, your posts are inspiring :)

Yeah i'm afraid it not allowed..... i have a small bottle of listerine in my bag.... I think some peeps keep a spare tooth brush at work...

These are the strips...
NuPhar Dual Action Fresh Breath Strips: Amazon.co.uk: Health & Beauty

They're quite cheap!!! : ) x

Water will also help nail the breath issue. I've been paranoid about it as just started a new job so keep breathing over my husband so he can check. Day 13 and so far so good but I do think water really helps.

Thanks Deezer & Pamdev, I'll up my water intake, go in to work armed with a toothbrush and look out for breath strips. Bring on ketosis!

Day 3, bit of a dull headache and a manky mouth but otherwise ok. Glad I got through making the children's dinner without much difficulty. Aaargh, can't wait for 1st weigh in.
How are my fellow Lipotrimmers?

Cheers. Thanks for the support. Day 4 has been better, no more headaches, just needing to get to bed early!
I keep thinking ahead to a few weeks down the line and I'm determined to complete this.
We can do this, yay! :D

Thanks Deezer, got to be; especially when there's food surrounding you! You all inspire me though and I love reading your real-person-just-like-me stories!
Right now I'm at a work function and there's a spread laid out before us, so I've escaped to the car. I'm sitting here drinking my shake and enjoying my lovely forum support, lol! :)

Admirable dedication girl! I had to totally avoid ANY places and situations that could tempt me in my first week. Now I have a will of iron....I hope!
Keep it up, the days will soon fly by and your goal will soon be visible on the horizon!

Cheers Poppylu, couldn't do it without you all.

And tonight: In the midst of fierce enemy food lines advancing and staring me in the face.....(ok, nothing so drastic, just the dinner!), tummy rumbling, nose twitching, mind racing, taste buds aching (cue in Jaws soundtrack)... Then I think 'oh quick -get my Lipotrim army behind me', rush onto safe forum soil, and, aaah, heave a sigh of relief. It's OK folks, the ketosis fortress is safe tonight....

Eeerm, getting carried away there; just trying to distract myself.

PS: it worked. The moment has passed. I'm just gonna drink my last shake of the day -a hot choc, oh yeah! -and off to bed : ). Na night all. :)
