Repeat Offender
Hello ladies! Thought a thread so we didn't clog up anyone's diary would be a good idea. Done a poll on location but would some point in the Easter holidays suit people? Maybe the weekend before Easter weekend would work best? That's the 12-13 April, either day. I'll probably make a weekend out of it unless it's somewhere local.

Vote on the poll for locations!

Let's do the Group on Murder Mystery booking for April 16th!

Ooh is that available on that date?! I'm in!!! You know how much I want to do it. Who would be up for it? It's £49 for a single room or £99 for two people in a double, that includes dinner and the evening entertainment. It's in Birmingham. Here are the details!

he Hotel
Located on the Hagley Road, within a short distance of central Birmingham, the four star Menzies Birmingham City - Strathallan offers Murder Mystery nights in a popular spot from which travellers can explore the city’s industrial architecture and first class shopping centres. Diners will be immersed in a themed murder mystery event with an evening meal to fuel their imagination, they will get involved in cross-examining the suspects, or sit back and observe as the plot thickens in a bid to catch out the culprit themselves.

Boasting 135 en suite bedrooms, this hotel has contemporary facilities evenly distributed throughout its spacious rooms that feature a range of mod-cons including air-conditioning and Freeview TV.

The on-site restaurant serves up a combination of modern European and traditional British fare in a brasserie setting, while the lounge bar offers plenty of drinking opportunities.

Sporty types may enjoy a well-equipped gym with cross trainer, exercise bikes and treadmills, or choose to walk along the intricate canal networks, where colourful boats, vibrant restaurant and cafes create a cosmopolitan setting.

I'm still in school on the 16th and up to now have a inset day on the 17th

Like Kate I have a few things on over Easter and not sure when DD is home, but I'm in if I'm free would love to meet up with you all.

Not sure yet Mel, DH works most weekends (Saturdays anyway) and DD is unsure of her time off yet, I'll see what everyone else can do and see if I can fit in.

Sound like fun - we have friends coming around that time, not sure of the dates yet, but that allowing, I would love to attend.

Well get voting on the location poll ladies!

OK well thinking of the weekend of 12/13th April in Edinburgh. Who's up for it?

Ooh! If we book well in advance here tickets are less than 40 pounds return. I'd bring Aaron with me and turn it into a mini break away. Question is, could we cope without a car!

In Edinburgh -- absolutely. We drove up, left a car in the garage and used the busses or walked.

It's more whether I'd cope without driving off to see other places too but unless we turn it into a week away (unlikely, not enough pennies) then we probably would just get a train.

Looks like it's just you and me Mel!

That's fine, fair enough. Think we'll book something then anyway in a month or two, too close to the time and prices will go up.
