Went to the smoking clinic this morning and have put my script in for pick up on Friday morning and them it starts my Hubbie is going for the mouth spray. Tabs are on banned drug list at work x

Oh my gosh sorry you had so many problems. I was ok with it the first time only had nausea if i didnt around same time of taking them x

My dad tried using these tabs and he stopped taking them due to side effects mood swings and felling sick..in end just used pure will power

As for me i used and am still using willpower its been 4 /5 months now .....good luck and hope you do it x

I have tried all the other quit methods and always fell off the wagon but with champix the cravings and such were so small i did great till I lost my gran and a very close friend within a month of each other straight back to a pack a day!!! X

Good luck with giving up, it isn't easy but if you are ready to try again you should succeed.
Take it a day at a time and learn from your previous attempt, you did well and it is understandable that you went back to smoking. Life throws lots of obsticles in our way but I'm glad you are trying again, never give up giving up and you will get there! :)

I gave up smoking 3 years ago with Champix, however it really really had a bad effect on me even after I had stop taking it. I sank into an awful cycle of depression and mood swings (I understand stopping smoking also brings this on but it carried on for 18 months). I am not saying do not take it, I am just saying be careful....I take St Johns Wort and that seemed to help. Good luck x

I had to stop taking it and have stopped smoking by myself, my nhs clinic are not being too helpful though insisting that I take NRT even though I don't want to :( x

Sorry to hear that, if you have never smoked you will never understand how hard it is to quit and I found my NHS advisor was and had always been a non smoker.

Howevr Fiona, you are doing really well...you should be very proud of yourself xx

Thanks I'm at the point where my brain is saying have a cig have a cig constantly and it's driving me to distraction x

my OH used them, only got the first one or two courses, as he was running out he took less than the recommended dose gradually but managed to quit, really proud of him! I think the drugs gave that extra boost in the early days of quitting.
