What weight of nuts can I have as a HExB? Assuming they aren't honey roasted, or dipped in chocolate! Crushed nuts on fruit with yogurt is great for breakfast, and I just want to make sure I'm not barking up the wrong tree. The weights falling off so I imagine its right, but I just want to be...
Okay, when it comes to generic nuts, is there a difference when it comes to the healthy b then? Okay well is there a difference between weight of pistachio, cashews and peanut, is it different between salted an unsalted?
If I am having yogurt and nuts as a and b hex's how much of each can I have?
yes, it's no fat yogurt, no they're not honey roasted nuts.
No guessing please!
I dice fruit, mix in yogurt and some nuts have it for breakfast, or if I'm too rushed at breakfast I have in for pudding. Takes care of a and b, and it tastes good.
for those about to chuck toys out of the pram, yes I measure the extras, no it's not tinned fruit, yes it is no fat yogurt. Take a...
Okay, that's cool, I can stick the recipe in a calculator, divide by two, for the loaves, and then by the number of slices, work out the weight. Then I can tweak the recipe if I need to bring the syn value down.
Thanks Princess
Thanks
Thanks for that, that's was really helpful, I'll have to estimate weight after removal of bone, etc.
To be honest it not that much in weight so I should be okay, I reckon about 4 syns, for two trotters.
Thanks again Sally.
Going to a friends place, she is a fab cook. She is going to cook pigs trotters, a particular favourite of hers as her Mum used to cook them for her, and its a proper, handed down, Chinese family recipe.
question is, do I have to syn the trotters?
Okay, we'll I've worked out the stats, using an on line calculator, the difference is so negligible that I don't have any concerns using them in place of bread. Using various other wholemeal products I have worked out the cut off point so I have that and the maximum fat and sugar content too. So...
Most breads have sugar and fat in them, with the substitution of sweetener and the omission of fat, the only difference is baking powder, and I can not see how that wold be an issue.
does anyone know the equations for this diet to work this out? I can post the recipe if it helps.
