    Mousse Maker saved my diet!

Hi, I swapped from LT to CD on Wed 3rd March. I just needed more flavours and was dying to try the mousse and porridge. My CDC,Marie, is great and lives just around the corner too :jelous: I have to say, the Mousse Maker has been a complete revelation and will keep me on track, as I love being...

    Dizziness pls help...

The danger is that you could be blaming the CD, when you could have a virus, or ear problem, or any of lots of medical problems that cause dizziness. You've been really tired as well. Maybe it's a bug? How about checking with your GP or Practice Nurse? Hope you feel better soon.

    Onwards!

You can easily lose 37 lbs by May! If you only lost 4lbs a week, that gets you 36 lbs and I bet you'll lose MORE than 4lbs some weeks. Keep strong and keep going!

How will you celebrate when you get to goal?

I'm planning on starting riding again. This time with smaller boobs (agony before, when they were HUGE and flopping everywhere ) I'm hoping to get beige jodphurs, instead of the navy or black I had before, to try and disguise the size of me. Pretty sure the horse or pony will be glad I'll...

OK in the red corner we have Megan

Once your head is in the right place, anything is possible! :superwoman: I'm with you too. Since having a long-awaited breast reduction in November, followed by Christmas and then all the awful ice and snow, I've piled on the weight. (but struggled and messed around since Christmas really) A...

    Changing from Lipotrim to Cambridge

You're all very welcoming on here! I'll have to post here now, rather than the LT section. Thanks for the encouragement everyone, I've got my "Mother-of-the Bride" outfit now and although I can squish it on, I need to lose about 3 stone for it to look great (Thank God for bias cut, or I'd never...

    Changing from Lipotrim to Cambridge

Oh thanks girlies :) I spoke to the CDC and as I have a whole weeks LT packs, I'm going to see her next Wednesday evening, so as not to waste them. Changing from Lipotrim to Cambridge

Hi, I'm thinking of changing from Lipotrim to Cambridge. I need more flavours and like the idea of an occasional mousse, plus a porridge in the mornings. I currently pay £36 a week for LT. If I did Sole Source, how much a week would that be please? Thanks for any help. :wavey:

    HELP! Shall I start again?

Great advice from you all :) After a nights sleep, I'm even more sure about it. I'm going to start walking to work as well, like I used to. This also saves over £10 a week, plus, no buying rubbish from the tea-bar, will save another £10, so the Lt is almost paid for! ;) Scazman, I think I...

Hi, I did really well last year on Lt. I started in July 08 at 17st10lbs and got to 10st 12lbs by March 09. There were several things that then put me off track. I really wanted to get to target (10st 5lbs) but had a family bereavement and a few other things and to cut a long story short, Im...

I'm a combination of what Binger and Supaslimmer have said. I will want to eat if my husband goes out...

    Cost for Men v Women

I see your point, but if you get more product, it costs them more to produce it. But then it's not your fault that males need more calories and vits and mins etc. So there does seem to be an inequality here. One of the few times it pays to be female I think!
  85. C

    Cost for Men v Women

You're right Chelly, but I THINK the men get 4 packs of female LT to make the equivalent of male packs. Can anyone do the maths yet!?
  86. C

    Cost for Men v Women

    Female packs have 40g in. 21 packs @ 40g per pack =840g £36 divided by 840 = (help! can't do the maths!!)
  87. C

    Cost for Men v Women

I think it may be costed out by pence per gram, which makes it the same price, (per gram) but you guys get more grams, so you have to pay more! Seems fair enough to me!! :D

Hi, I need some advice please.

Hi Lisa, Your peppermint tea and coffee do count in your fluid intake. It's advisable to also have 2.5 -3 litres of water as well, but make sure to spread this out across the day. I'd deliberately bought nice flapjacks (organic ones, coz these friends are a bit "oatmeal fondue" types if you know what I mean) for afters, and I had...

    Questions on re-feed

Definitely add a little flavour to your chicken, I used chilli flakes, black pepper and a bit of garlic. Made it taste great.
  101. C

    "Faux" Eating !!

Thanks Kered, yes, it's been a long haul, but it's interesting that as long as you appear to be eating, no-one actually watches you. :D
  102. C

    "Faux" Eating !!

Like a few of us on here, I haven't told everyone that I'm on LT due to the negativity etc. I fully agree we should be able to be straight with people, but some people just latch on to anything, like you look a bit tired, or have a bit of a sniffle, to start bad-mouthing the diet, and I really...
  103. C

    Questions on re-feed

Yes, you can use a spray of that, I much preferred the salad/cooked salad to the veg, coz 3 tablespoons of veg isn't worth cooking. Have you SEEN the SIZE of a tablespoon measure!!?? Making a little stir fry is a great way, but watch the amount of salad/veg like a hawk, coz that's where...

    WI 11 & I am Sad :(

Hi, you know what? I bet you'll have less to lose than you've already lost by the next WI (what I mean is you'll be more than halfway by then, looking at your ticker) Well don Hun, keep it up. xx
  105. C

    Questions on re-feed

Hi, I found 6oz chicken is quite a lot. A chicken fillet (like you'd use for a stir-fry) is about the size. I never used the ones with bones in, but I understand them to mean the weight of chicken on its own. With the tuna, if you really drain a normal size tin and squeeze out all the brine, it...

Wow Jack!! (dances a type of hornpipe) :banana dancer: That's a really excellent loss, well done :D Deffo do a strict refeed this time, you'll breeze it then. Rooibos Tea ?

I think so Dave, as long as it's leaf only, with no additives, it's fine. I tried that before LT and liked it too, but I'd forgotten about it, thanks for the reminder, I'm a bit fed up with peppermint!
  115. C

    The VERY LAST re-start!!

Thanks Helen and MrsHill2B, The only thing I've done other than LT is walk to work. I work in 2 different hospitals, I usually do a day in one, then a day in the other. Easter Virtual Pub!!!

Sorry, I messed up sending my reply!! You will need to do the FULL 7 day refeed as laid down by LT. I've tried doing shortcuts, but it doesn't work properly. When I've cut it short (I call it emergency refeed) I've gained weight. I went to Majorca after a "Proper refeed", ate fish, chicken...

    LEFT SHAKES AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Officegirl, I was told that if I lost or forgot a shake, you can substitute with 200ml skimmed milk. You could have it as a latte, with sweeteners, to make it nicer. Some coffee shops use skimmed milk, but check first, coz some only use semi-skimmed. Don't despair!

FG, if you do a weeks refeed, you won't gain loads, watch the carbs on refeed, stick to the plan and you should be fine, good luck!!
  138. C

    Only 8 days to go......

Is your top long enough to hide the fact that they don't fasten? If it is, put some elastic through the button hole and loop it round the button. They'll fit you so quickly it's not worth getting any bigger ones to keep you going.
  139. C

    still worried, need a kicking!!!

    I'm betting you'll lose at least 4-6 lbs !!
  140. C

    is it just me?

I find that I feel really cold when I'm due a shake. I think I suffer from "head hunger" rather than "tummy hunger" This'll be why I was fat! I ate coz I fancied something, rather than needed food as fuel. Being cold stops the dreaded hot flushes though!!

  158. C

    Ok worried...

For the salad, just use a bowl you'd use for cornflakes or muesli. As you chop it up, put it into the bowl, then when it's full (NOT piled up!) put it onto your plate. Hope that helps. xx
  159. C

See what you'll look like ....

Wow Jan, what a great idea! Now I just have to figure out how to import a picture. I put some on here when I started and again in September, but can't remember how I did it! Pity, coz I've found some VERY fat "befores" and have a new "nearly there" one as well. Thanks for the link.

How do you all keep going

What keeps me going is Minimins, and my friend Sandra, who is doing it with me(and gives me a talking to when I need it, (Thanks San!) There's no way I could have kept going all these weeks by myself. Just knowing others feel the same, ie. cold, fed-up, tempted etc really really helps. Doing it...

And how is our patient today? (Matron doing her rounds here!) Hope you're a bit stronger today Hun. xx
  217. C

    Bad day :-(

It's a lesson learned. The chop and chicken were not as good as you thought they'd be. Only protein, so probably no damage done. Try and remember how you felt after eating them, and remember it next time you're tempted. Keep strong Hun. xxxx

I am so excited I have to share!

Great stuff! We should all keep trying our stuff on regularly, coz we lose so fast. I've "missed the boat" with a few things, by not trying them often enough, then they have to go without even wearing them.
