I am so very proud of myself! OH suggested a BBQ, and while he enjoyed quarter pounders and white rolls, I had quorn sausages and wholemeal bread (as HEx). I know this doesn't sound like much but it's a mini victory for me! Yey! xx

New to SW with PCOS - Advice needed :)

Hi, I also have PCOS, diagnosed in 2003; I have all the lovely symptoms, including no periods at all! I have just started on metformin and am due to start IVF treatment in 6 weeks (the private sector accept a BMI of up to 35) but I am hoping to lose a stone before then. I have done SW before and...

    It's now or never....

I have not been disciplined at all for that last 3 weeks.... but have received good news that I can start IVF in 6 weeks, so need to shift a few pounds before then! I have cleared out the fridge and cupboards of "bad" food and have dusted off my exercise bike. I would really love to lose a stone...

I've also been writing everything down and find it really helps to keep me focused. I have been trying to stick to fresh fruit and vegetables and steering clear of the convienience foods I got used too. I'm not much of a cook so its pretty basic!
