    Day 6: Sat 8th February Terrible start to the day for weather and travel reasons, ended up with me pushing the car out of a lake on the road... all before my shake! My ketostix have arrived but no desire to do it, I know this is working. Also my flavoured coffee and exante water flavouring...

    Day 5: Fri 7th Feb Today started with the same 'sicky' feeling as yesterday ended with. Lunch time things picked up, I felt a lot better and at present I feel pretty good. More water, shake in a bit and some dr pepper zero later - #yolo :D Confident tomorrow will be even better.

    Thanks :) I feel better now! I think maybe the exercise coupled with this massive drop in calories as I am fairly 'meaty', not just fat - although plenty of that too. Might have been a bit too much. I want to see ketosis to believe it's happening, sounds pretty sad... but I'm getting worried...

    Thats pretty odd, I get numb feet too - I have very flat feet, I have to wear insteps to stop that but it was frightening when i get it, nobody wants to be the one that fell of the x-trainer :D

    Is SW effective at home?

    I found it worked really well from home. It took a bit of getting used to, things like eating as much fruit as I want seemed crazy but not being allowed to eat much meat on green plan. I ended up losing 3 stone, I then gave up after a holiday as I thought I could maintain... but went to old habits.

    Walking and weightloss..

    I find that the bike and x-trainer are the best to lose fat fairly quickly and drinking plenty of water whilst doing it, ensure you get something salty in your meals. Walking worked for me - this coupled with diet definitely sped it up, it was only 30 mins a day but it really helped.

    I did [and currently do] fat burning on a recumbent bike, I have never noticed a slow down. When I was deliberately eating egg protein with the diet the loss became slower but I was building muscle, that was part of the aim.

    I'm not sure how that works as i'm 6lb lighter this week too, I think being active helps - pretty certain that with exercise you can lose more than 2-3lbs a week, or i have an awful lot of water - which is possible!
