    UPDATE. Nearly 2 1/2 stone gone with pics!

    Exercise wise I was doing the 30 day shred for about 3 weeks, I then gave up on that but went to the gym 4-5 times a week. I've let it go this past week due to freshers week at uni so probably had a considerable gain but will be starting again on Monday to try and shift 1 more stone :)

    Hi both of you, when I started my lower back was hurting a lot during crunches to the point where I couldn't do more than 2/3 but I now do them on my bed (which has a fairly hard mattress) and no pain at all but definitely still works!

    It is really difficult! Although I think the strength exercises are harder than level 1 they seem easier to maintain, perhaps my balance has just improved though! Cardio is definirely a killer, and all the planks exhaust me can't hold them for very long at all! How are you finding level 1-...

    Yeah you do need weights as a lot of the exercises (especially level 2) require them!

    I don't find the starjumps too bad, or the skipping. It's the strength and abs which get to me! I really stuggle with all the lunge movements, can't see to master the technique! Do you take any breaks?

    If you really go for it, so a healthy balanced diet, a few treats here and there, exercise about 5 times a week, cut out alcohol you could lose between 1 stone and a stone and a half :)

    That sounds just like me :( Best solution for me is keeping busy most of the day and then drinking water when I want to eat. Has helped a bit.

    I know it's ridiculous :( if you have a look online you might be able to find a cheap gym around you somewhere! As a student I pay £22pm and there was a £15 joining fee, not too bad really as includes classes, swimming pool and a fitness instructor for 4 sessions to personalise your workout...

    I joined slimming world last year and found it helped me (unfortunately I still gave up though!) but it's best to attend the meetings. I wanted to have a loss each week just for the group announcements! Good luck :)

    Struggling to eat enough?

    I went from constant boredom and therefore a desire to eat everything I possibly could all day to now never being hungry.Today all I've eaten is a banana, 2 oranges, a chicken salad and a packet of doritos. It's become an effort to eat now and it's not healthy. Any way I can change this?

    Losing weight whilst at Uni - is it possible?

    Hi, I've just joined this and I'm hoping to lose weight whilst at uni too! I do struggle to eat healthier as on a budget it always seems the unhealthy food is the cheapest! But it's definitely possible :) just have to eat the healthiest we can and do lots of exercise. good luck!
