    What sort of sauces do you like? I make loads of free sauces, mainly tomato based with loads of herbs and spices. And for thicker sauces without the points I boil up an onion in a small amount of water and then whizz it up in the blender and stir it into the sauce...this works particularly well...

    I replace the buckwheat flour with gluten free flour as my sister can't have gluten and it works just as well. I know, it really is shocking. The other day i checked out the pp on pop tarts and was shocked..I used to have 4 which is 22pp and that's just breakfast lol. x

    I'll join in! I need lots of mini targets to keep me on track :) I aim to get to 14st by 9th November so an 8.5lb loss. My losses have been annoyingly slow so this is definitely a challenge for me! I weigh in on Thursday evenings so will keep you posted of my progress :)

    I think I'm out of this challenge :( my food shop arrived this morning and they were out of the rye bread and substituted it for a wholemeal loaf, which I sent back. I still have some scan bran left so think I'll stick to that for the rest of the week.

    That's excellent news, well done! I wish I could lose 6lb in 2 weeks lol. I won't know until tonight how the scan bran has worked for me this week but fingers crossed for a loss (hoping my accidental weekend chocolate binge hasn't had an impact).

    One of my fave brekkies is baked beans, onion and peppers on toast. So today I swapped the toast for scan bran 'buttered' with Philly light. The bean juice soaked in to soften the scan bran and it was actually quite yummy and very filling!

    Oh no!!! I've had a binge!!

    I also had a bit of a binge - was disappointed with my loss at today's WI so came home and ate an entire bag of twirl bites. Felt happy when I was eating them but now feel sick and guilty so I'd say your scientific reasoning must be right. If only fruit had the same effect on our hormones ;-)
