    What foods have you discovered?

    Beef heart (comes in thin slices from tesco, like liver). Was dubious at first, but really low in fat (much lower fat % than the leanest stewing steak) and really cheap (approx £3 per kg). Really lush cooked in slow cooker all day and the whole family love it :-D

    I agree, you can definitely do it without 'exercise' and it sounds like you're on the go all the time.     Couldn't agree more with this. ...planning is the key. I use a free app on my phone to plan the week's meals. I took a while to type in the ingredients to the approx 20 to 25 'usual' midweek dinners I tend to do but then it makes shopping so easy...and as a result I found I was wasting less food...
