After trying slimming world and weight watchers I seem to have come to a full stop so decided to give counting another go. I still have 1 stone that I want to loose and I know it slows right down the nearer you get to target. So I am using mfp and wondered if it will give me the kick that I need :)

When calorie counting does anyone not count fruit and veg like weight watchers and slimming world?

If I am doing a casserole I cook the meat and veg as usual, Mash the swede and stir it into the gravy then leave it in the oven to finish cooking. Hope this helps :)

I use Asda chosen by you wholemeal medium sliced loaf, works out around 44g for two slices :)

I find mashed swede helps thicken gravy and it's free :)

I am doing EE so only have one HEb choice. I use Asda wholemeal bread now as one slice only weighs around 22g. Can I have sultana bran as well, as the bread is not the ful 60g allowed and if so how much please :)

Had a two week breakfrom SW and did CC. Gone back to SW again now with new motivation so fingers x it will work this time. I am doing EE and weigh and measure everything I should. :)

I have been yo yo dieting for a few weeks now from S W to CC. Feel sort of stuck in a rut so giving CV another go but using S W and WW recipies so will see how I go. Dont think I could do 5.2 I like my food to much to last on the fast days. :)

Thought I would weigh my HEB and two slices of Kingsmill tasty wholemeal from a 800g loaf weighs 51g so still within the 60g HEB, so I will make sure I weigh my bread if I fancy a sarnie. Happy days :) Edit to say it was a medium sliced loaf :)

The book only says for 35ml but maybe 2.5 for 25ml, same as gin, vodka etc. Perhaps someone can confirm this :)

In answer to my own question I had a go and this is what I did Tomatoes, carrots, swede. Spray a baking tray with frylight and bake in the oven for 40 minutes. Tranfer to a saucepan and add 50ml of chicken stock, bring to boil and then simmer for 30 minutes. Then blitz and add potatoe powder to...
