    Slow weight loss

How much have you lost in 4 weeks? The recommended rate of loss for it to remain healthy is an average of 1-2lb. Usually people lose a little quicker at the start, or people who have a lot to lose can lose quicker. But if you do not have too much to lose then averaging 1-2lb a week is totally...

If I am unsure I will just allocate that days syns to it. I'll have SP-EE meals for the rest of the day (just speed and protein foods) and call it 15 syns. I find if I start trying to save syns or pull them back and have less on days afterwards I end up really struggling. So I just make the...

    SW and exercise

I think with exercise you need to find a balance. As above poster said, it could be water retention from sore muscles but that would eventually pass. Some people find that exercise can make them very hungry, so they eat more than they burn off, which (in terms of losing weight) makes the...

    Party nibbles idea

A work colleague is having a Tropics party (bit like Avon but all natural ingredients used in cosmetics). She said she'll provide "nibbles" and wine. I'm thinking I would be better to take something along with me that I can share around but is SW friendly. The party isn't until 7:30 so I will...

So, joined up last night! I don't think my hubby Dave knew what to expect. There was a couple of other guys weighing in but he was the only man who stayed to class. I don't think he minds though. We've both really had enough of being overweigh and unfit so he's happy to do whatever it takes...

SW high in fat and sugar?!

Following the Cambridge diet there is no way you are gaining muscle. I totally disagree with your consultant. Apparently to gain 1lb of fat you would need to over eat by 3,500 calories (and this would be above you maintenance calories which likely are around 2,000). There is no way that you overate 35,000 calories in one day. Time of day can make up to 5lb difference and also different scales can...
