How many calories do you burn per session?

Yeah I am not sure how much I burn at the gym, all I know is that it can easily be wasted by a couple poor food choices. Kind of frustrating, but also good in a way because then the gym trip gives you even more motivation to east well.

    harness or halti

I would be careful with the halti. It does indeed work wonders, but if your dog is super stubborn it could lead to injury. My neighbours dog got hurt from a pretty weak tug. Now of course she could be exagerrating how weak her tug was, but the dog was definitly hurt. Our local pet store...

    Weekend Eating :(

Weekends kick me in the butt as well. Just general lack of nutrition. It is really bad if I drink, because I get the calories from my drinking plus, when I am hungover I eat like a madman. I have found it is helpful if you let the people you hang out with on weekend know about your goals...

    My Chihuahua Army

    Back ache...?

Well after years of basically nothing, I got over my dread of the gym and I go there usually 5x a week now. I focus on weight training just because I can't sustain cardio for any real length of time. I do about 10 mins before i work out. I won't type out my whole routine, but I do one day...

Can you visualise youself as a slim person?

I have a "vision board" it is basically a corkboard with images of things I want in life. I have pics of a nice house, a boat, my dream car, Maria from Coronation Street (lol jk) and I even have a pic, and this sounds lame, of my head on an in shape body. I know it sounds lame, but I find it...

    Back ache...?

Hm I don't want you give you advice that could lead to you getting hurt. I know I have worked out through pain but that was like pain in my quad muscles or my biceps. Maybe someone else here has more knowledge about lower back pain. I worked through mine but I did ask my Doctor about my...

    Other people's expectations

Yeah, I can definitly relate with that. I think one thing that I have found helpful is to fully explain my goals, at the least to the people closest to me. I have explained pretty in depth to people really close to me. Like short term and long term goals. This helps in a couple ways, one...

    Back ache...?

When you are working out with the weights - do you sit or stand? If you are standing are you making sure to have your legs slgihtly bent? That is a small problem I used to have - standing too straight when I worked out. A very slight knee bend made all the difference

    water intake

I think you have to drink A LOT of water in a short amount of time to die of "water intoxication". I personally drink probably about 3lt a day. I drink a lot during my workout and then use it as kind of an appetite suppresant. I have found it helped me to drink a big glass of water a little...

    The Secret....

The Secret is a great jumping off point for personal development. I think that people have to remember that the Law of Attraction is great, but a good goal setting plan to go along with it is can't miss. If you want to look furthur into how your mind works (habits/visualization) there is a...

    Want your Weight loss Suggestions

I personally have had more success with weight training as opposed to cardio. My main problem with cardio is that I am not in good enough shape to sustain the cardio I need to lose significant weight. But if you are jogging 4-5 miles, I guess that isn't a problem for you. Do you do any...

    Enjoying the gym?!

Yeah exactly - people are into their own thing. Also don't be afraid to ask help of the people working at the gym. If you have to, a polite question to a fellow gym member will also usually get you an answer. Maybe wait to ask them when they are in between exercises. Asking a person who is...

    Enjoying the gym?!

I used to fear the gym. My mind would just think about the worst case scenario. I was worried because I was going to be the fat guy amongst the pretty people. I worried that I would look like an idiot and not know what to do or how to use the machines. I thought the very image of a fat guy...
