    I think for me its cutting out the junk I used to gorge on and limiting the dairy and fibre. Also the change to sweetener has had a huge impact!

    How many syns do you use?

    I was just wondering how many syns some of you use on average each day? Do you aim to stick to a certain amount and have you experimented with the amount some weeks? I am curious as to how syn amounts affects individuals weight loss.

    I'm only 5ft 2 and a half tall so 10st is only 2lb within my healthy BMI, but on the upside the last time I weighed 10st I was 16 (12 years ago!)

    I eventually told everyone around me. I'm not particularly bothered by this, I find it quite amusing when we are out for dinner (for example) with friends and they say "how can you possibly be eating that and still lose weight?". Gives me a chuckle!

    Hi! I beat myself up every week, whether I go off plan or have a treat within my syns! Usually I still lose. I had a terrible week last week and strangely lost half a pound, but (i am a Wednesday weigher) I am terrified it will all catch up with me tomorrow!
