    Tougher than I thought...

Cheers all :) I have a school reunion tonight, have borrowed jeans and a top (actually about 5 tops - couldn't decide!) as I have virtually nothing that fits and no time to go get something! Must scoot and start getting ready, have an hour and a half journey to get there plus my friend who's...

    Tougher than I thought...

This maintaining lark! I've dropped another 1½ lbs, despite having extra HexB's and being a bit lax with my syns. Maybe it's because the pressure's off? It would have been a good loss week anyway looking at my loss pattern before. It's also very tempting to get into the next stone weight...

Where has your weight gone from first?

Under bust first, bra size came down, then cup size. Then back, face and neck, then that horrid bit just under my knee where I'd got a bulge cos it had nowhere else to go!!! Finally belly :)

    Star Week

I've had a definate pattern to my losses. Despite not having 'proper' star week due to mirena coil, I still have some of the symptoms - sore boobs etc so I assume a bit of water retention too. A STS the week before and a little gain 'that week' was not unusual for me, followed by a good loss...

Goodness, what a lot of congrats :) Thank you so much everyone :) Back at the start I thought if I could shift a stone or two I'd be delighted and here I am 3 and a half later contemplating another half if I can tighten up the wobbles :D Yaaay for Slimming World! Just hang in there, keep...

    BUZZIN!!! Need to share...

Hiya Julie Yes, I'm a bit aprehensive about maintaining, I'm going to switch to EE and add a HexB if necessary, I suppose it'll be trial and error. I'm hoping to maintain for a few months - give me time to tone up a bit and see if my skin still fits :p then go for another half stone maybe :)

Awww, thank you all :) Have to say I was quite emotional at class, got loads of hugs, *nearly* had a blub lol Angie, I may be pestering you for maintain hints... for the mo I'm going to switch to EE then add a HexB if lose next week. :)

    O/T who's watching BB tonight?

I ♥ BB, 17 mins to go!!! I lost a lb this week, after gaining 1½ last week then going camping and just got star week so am allowing myself a couple of small gins while I kick back and watch the madness start :) Also no booze this weekend as am working two nightshifts sat and sun - stocktake...

    Feeling emotional :(

OMG I thought it was just me! My weight crept up over the last 9 years, zoomed up over the last year, and I just can't believe I let me get so bad! I think it's because SW is so good, so 'common sense' that we can't quite get our heads round how daft we've been not doing it before! You need to...

    Slimmer of the week

As I understand it the Slimmer of the Week has to have lost the previous week and stayed to class inorder to take that award and the basket of fruit that other members have brought. Should that person not stay to class, then our consultant raffles off the basket alongside the normal raffle prize.

    Newbie - Green Day query

Some of those types of pasta in sauces ARE free but those ones obviously not sorry. You'll find that the tomatoey ones have a lower (or zero) syn value. Hi, New Here

Hi and welcome :) For your chilli to be free on a green day you either need to make sure your lean mince is a measured amount to use as a Healthy Extra B Choice OR swap the meat for Quorn (meat substitute) mince. A word of caution re: milk!

I'm a coffee addict too, but do try to stop drinking it after lunchtime. I tried lots of different green/white/herbal teas before finding one I really like - Clipper Detox Tea - tastes a bit like weak hot vimto. As for milk I started buying skimmed soon as I started SW and I stick to the one...

My WI's 7pm and on the day I'll have a 2 egg mushroom omlette and salad about 9.30 then maybe a ryvita goodness about 2, last cuppa about 4.30/5 and a little snooze - always need a wee when I wake up ;) - then off to WI. Thought I might do my Potato wedges with steak (spicy hot) seasoning and HexB cheese. It's about 2 minutes walk to class, so if I aim to arrive a little bit late they'll still be warm. Also I thought about Bulgar wheat salad, but might leave that for a little bit later in the year.
