I do prefer the WW diet, however I did lose 3st in 4 months with SW. We could plan everything before but now the children take over and you can't really plan anything. I am changing my own diet but that is to try and feel better so we will see what happens. Ebay prices sometimes are crazy...

Hi, I haven't posted for a while mainly cos I have been working like a maniac. I have always been of the belief that you should stick with the diet that you have chosen and not keep changing. I have been on the WW diet for around 20 months and I maintain around my target weight. However...

Apple will bring out a new version of the iPhone every year like they do the iPod. The original iPhone was so reprieved of features that phone users were used to that it was obvious that the strategy would be to release one every 12-18 months and have a constant stream of up-graders. Its a...

Going to see Twilight:New Moon tomorrow!!

As a guy I have to say it was a terrible film. It made no sense whatsoever. The number of times I had to ask my wife a question about it. Also I have no wish to see men walking about with no shirt on.

Just realised my calcs have been wrong. My spreadsheet was using the old formula when I had 27 points and not 26 per day. If I have no more food after dinner then I have 39 points over 2 days. Well I have learnt my lesson from weekend binges

Well Yesterday I had 15.5 points. I know this is realy low, however I was straight out to the football after work and only had time for a quick ready meal. I can have 22 points per day now and be within my weekly total. I think I will need everyone of them today as I am starving
  120. Manny

400g they are. Slightly bigger than a WW meal but seems more filling. The only thing I would say is that the points on the packaging are not the same as what I work them out as. They are probably right but I wold rather use what I work it out as so that I am being consistent.

  144. Manny

    Manny...Ticking on by

Well todays lunch is a TLC Chicken hotpot. On the packaging it says 4 points but after calculations I am going to count it as 4.5. I am also having snack a jacks. Thats leaves me 15.5 for dinner and thats me back to a level playing field with my points

    Question

can I ask why you moved from SW in the first place?
  183. Manny

    Question

Thanks for replying. I am not saying it is always a bad thing. Calorie counting may well be the route that I will go in the end but then I would have to decide how I wanted my calories made up (30% protein, 40% Fat, 30% carbs)

Can anyone convert daily WW points into daily calorific equivelant?

I know its not exact but here is another way to look at it. 20 points = 1320 cals. Lets say on a day you eat 8g of sat fat. 8g Sat fat = 2 points. Meaning 18 points = 1188cals I would expect you calories to be between 1100 - 1400 to stay within your points
