Does anyone want a conscience friend?

Poor yo yo, I don't know how tall you are, but bt unless you're 6'3" your losses are quite exceptiional. Try & think of this week's STS as your body doing a bit of water re-distribution. Havbe your clothes continued to get looser? Keep to the diet & the weight will keep coming off ...even if you...

Food that wont knock you out of weight loss.

Spot on Mich. Wise mich. I'd like some of my more experimental CDC clients to take this path. couldn't agree more. The one off meal allows the dieter to be part of the festivities for a night, gives a sense of achievement & control at the choices made etc but without triggering bad habits.

Minilady's Diary... getting back on track

Interesting that when drunk you chose prawns & not a series of carb stuff like you'd choose on an eating binge. also that the drink didn't trigger an eating spree. Do you see the problems as linked? interchangeable? both part of the same problem? or separate? hugs

I'm sorry about this question but........

Dear To Lose, firstly , I just love your name! Fybogel is fine. It contains psyllium in an effervescent carrier. Only the original flavour should be taken. The Orange flavour, of course, contains citric acid & should be avoided.

    KETO STICKS

Yup! I do! 'tia any colour pink will show you're in ketosis, BUT if you're at the top end of the scale you're not in 'more ketosis' you're runnig a bit dry & need to increase your water intake. Easy! what was your result?

I'm sorry about this question but........

are we showing our age here Bigley? What was frank like ? & did you get his number?

I'm sorry about this question but........

Poor dobbie! I agree with dancing, you are almost certainly drinking so much that you are diluting the Ketones to below the sensitivity of the stix. ( remember they are designed for diabetics, who, when they get inot trouble can accumulate massive levels of ketones) didn't know about the stix only...

I'm sorry about this question but........

Ah constipation ! my favourite subject!!! 1. the frequency is not a problem, nor is the size. 2.It's the consistancy of the poo & ease with which it passes that is important. If it is 'formed to firm' & slips out without straining then all is fine. If you have to strain, sit there for ages...

Good for you.I like your spirit Gemma! I remember last year offering some almost unworn clothes on here. Apart from a pr jeans that Sonkie took, didn't get any takers. Sadly they weren'y maternity jeans so it'll be a while longer before she gets to wear her freebies. Q: if there was a...

Keep ap the goodwork Reading all your posts brought it all back to me. There's something quite special about the cocoon of ketosis. I remember trying to sum it up in my signature. There's no doubt in my mind that if you can sink into the diet & use it like a trusted armchair then you're much...

keeping cd a secret from friends

I read your post about your friend my thoughte were along the same lines as Skye magic, but that wasn't my main reason for replying. A lot of people keep quiet about their CD for fear of being censured/ridiculed & just generally unsupported by armchair diet & nutritionexperts. In my...

Following on from linda's comment, think of the spices as something to look forward to onced you've established the cambridge habit. Also can I add my personal favourite = Cardamon pods broken into a long hot banana shake....Mmmm! The soups can be tweeked with a little pepper or dried herbs...

    Frozen tetras

Ah! of course, silly me. Smooth as silk...got it. Can I suggest this to my clients? How much whizzing does it need? do you put the gelatine in all at once or sprinkle it in slowly?
  240. jane

    Frozen tetras

could you tell me your technique please. (pretty please)
  241. jane

    Frozen tetras

Yup! not enough mixing I'm afraid It needs a lot of whizzing. the gelatine IS cold water soluble but it need a lot of encouragement. when making a mousse from a shake the best results are achieved as follows: 1) mix the shake & gelatine powders together dry. 2) add to cold water 3) whizz...

    New Shaker / Beaker

Thanks for that tip Linda, I imagine that the paste dissolves more easily than the powder, but doesn't it try to cling into the 'corners' at the bottom? Perhaps it's time I bought one of my own shakers & ran a series of tests. At the moment I'm advising others from hearsay..which is NOT the...
