    I weigh from home too, I didn' peek in the first week but did after the weekend on the second and was almost 1 lb up!!     flexible syns

    Yep syns are flexible like that, but I always make sure I "save them up" before using extra at the weekend rather than making up for it later, that way I know I wont cheat and let myself forget about them.

    I prefer green too, usually feel much hungrier on red so end up using up all my syns on the kind of carb loading that's free on green!

    I've found instant mash (such as Smash) to be a great quick lunch, it's cheap and and it's ready in as long as it takes your kettle to boil. Goes perferctly with beans or tinned spaghetti, it's hardly a classy meal but it's good comfort food :) quick and 100% free on green! A bit of salt and...

    Week 1 losses

    I've lost 6lbs! :eek: Ok, so it's probably not quite that high as it was about 10 days since I last weighed myself and I gave myself every chance of having a large loss by weighing in the morning on an empty stomach wearing light clothing, but still, I'm chuffed with that result ;)

    This may sound stupid BUT ....

    According to the syns pdf document I downloaded from BodyOptimise just earlier today: cough syrup is 1.5 syns for 2 level tsps. throat lozenges are 1.5 syns per 2 sweets. But I wouldn't worry too much about the syns they cost, just focus on getting well again :)
