my advice is to go on the food diaries and see what people are eating. I mainly eat a mix of pittas with different fillings - my current fave is my breakfast pitta which is seriously filling and only 6pp. I also have the meals bulked with veg or salad.

I did lipotrim 3 years ago and think you are right to come onto a healthy eating programme. It will set you up to maintain :)

Fell off the wagon.
I fell off the wagon last week after the Pizza Hut and choc spread.
To tell the truth my period was 8 days late. I had thought i was pregnant but no...i wasn't :cry:

i weighed in at 14st 7.5lbs and i was shocked and furious with myself. A lot of us on here are in the same boat. Trust me once you get going on the diet you feel like you are back in control of it :)

We are roughly the same age with the same amount to lose. I chose WW over SW as i felt my portions were out of control and that SW isn't so easy going if u want to eat out etc. Though a lot of SW'ers take offence when i say that!
what about trying the simply filling plan? thats something i will consider when my points go down.
I know in all honestly i would struggle with 26 points.
My personal advice is to bulk your meals up with extra veg, snack on fruit and low points food.

i think to get started i would go to at least 1 class to get given ur points allowance and buy the bits and bobs to set you up. Currently first class is free and no joining fee.
i love turkey bacon - but i don't eat pork so thats never gonna happen for me...lol. Veggies are good for you ;-) but i know what you mean.....i am like that with bananas....they help me get through any hunger pangs....which can be quite frequent...lol

i was doubly nervous as i am a muslim and proper cover up and literally the only 'different' person in the group.
No one has treated me any different - theres a feeling of we are all in it together.
The meetings are really good and help you to motivate yourself and u can get ideas off the...
what about a pitta 3pp with salad and a turkey slice which would work out to be about 4pp.

my advice is to try new recipes that suit the foods you like. Also definitely try and 'up' the exercise....why not try a dvd at home if you are not that keen on the walking :)

you sounds like typical pear shapes. My area thats problematic is hip/tummy....like a overhang....i have to be tiny before the damn thing goes - but it does go and the same will be for your legs :)

I just warn you that after LT you may not lose weight for a while. Its taken me nearly 2 months to settle into eating and I have started to exercise to boost my metabolism.

unfortunately i seem to look like a 'shoplifter' and me and hubby have been followed around shops on a few occasions! The worst had to be in Pound Stretcher! How sad is that?!? The guard followed us, the staff blatantly kept and eye on us and then when we got to the till the manager oversaw...
i saw the leaflets for these pills in boots and it only claims to help you lose an extra 1lb for every 2lb that you lose through diet and exercise. Not much of a miracle cure. You are doing all the work :)

oh Lordy - well things have gone off the tracks! I need some help! Last week was a -3.5 loss basically the gain from my late period. After that i got a bit naughty and cheated - not drastically mind you! But the result is i gained 2 sodding pounds :(
So i found this out yesterday...
your stomach can shrink, but only if you are putting less into it.
i wouldn't say i eat less on SW, i have hungry days where i am constantly eating and other days where i only eat twice a day.
i think this plan affects everyone differently.
i gained 3.5lbs cos of my period being 7 days late. Don't stress - a STS is actually quite good for star week :)
And yep that evil 3.5lbs looks like its come off...phew!

I did the Lipo Trim programme which is similar to Lighterlife and i am happy to say that fizzy drinks just don't do it for me anymore!

well it finally arrived yesterday! LOL and i am still feeling very sick and headachey but i have had 2 good days on plan! I had yesterday off work and have spoilt myself with naps and rest! I think i deserve it :)

ok this is going to be whiney but hell i have just been through and still going through 2 weeks of sodding PMT!
my period is late....still and stupidly i weighed myself and HORROR :eek: put on 2lbs :eek: WTF?!

hey guys - i have a dilemma - my blimming period is 6 days late - therefore i have gained 2lbs with excess water etc etc. I really don't want to go to WI as it just feels so unfair that i am going to get a gain simply cos the damn thing is late :(

I am still the eating monster! But i am eating free food and big portions of it so i can be full! I ahve been good today and only used 1 syn so that should help pay off my 'syn debt' from the weekend!
