    Cosmetic Surgery

I would never ever get cosmetic surgery but I'm a big wimp. Also I really think that even though I dislike (refuse to use the word hate!) my tum and thighs, they can be hidden with great clothes and I am slowly learning to like all my imperfections. I just can't imagine hating the wobbly bits...

Week three WI - very disappointed....

it becomes a habit this diet and starts to feel normal after a while.
  125. eyeontheprize

Week three WI - very disappointed....

aww hun, I lost 1 lb one week, it's so disheartening. Stick with it, it will pick up. It will just be water retention, it CANT be fat. Measure yourself!
  126. eyeontheprize

Nina's Diary - To help me stay on track for this last little bit!

Thanks hun. I enjoyed the meal, made healthier choices so I won't beat myself up. But am also determined to get to goal and get fitter too. Need to burn some of this stubborn thigh fat off. Although, I do wonder if I will ever be able to have a treat occasionally without feeling guilty! I...

Nina's Diary - To help me stay on track for this last little bit!

right! Time to update the diary. Didn't have a great weekend food wise, had a planned meal out but before that I was getting a bit down with staying the same weight so have taken the batteries out of the scales and thrown them away. Don't know what the damage is but will weigh myself next...
  128. eyeontheprize

Couldn't eat all ss+ meal is it ok?

definetely liz, and harder if you are closer to goal too!
  129. eyeontheprize

Couldn't eat all ss+ meal is it ok?

gosh I envy you! I knocked myself out of ketosis after having a planned meal out on Sunday so am back on ss+ today and am so hungry! The cottage cheese and veg doesn't look like much right now at all. Glugging the water now though

    A New Image ???

I love clothes!! I have a very specific taste though, I like plain classic things, no patterns for some reason . I am so tall that if I wear anything too fussy I feel like a trannie. Asos is fab, and I reckonjust window shoppingis great for getting ideas too, especially in places like selfridges...
  134. eyeontheprize

Nina's Diary - To help me stay on track for this last little bit!

Hello all! Well I have decided to start my diary to help me stay on track to lose this last half stone to a stone or so. It feels very self indulgent but I am not going to lie, I have been looking forward to starting one of these! A bit of background on me, I won't bore you too much...
  141. eyeontheprize

ugh kfc is atrocious tasting. Good for you for getting straight back on track caz!
  148. eyeontheprize

  149. eyeontheprize

    happy with my SS+ decision

I am on ss+ for a few weeks depending on losses, and I love it! Was struggling with ss, defo made the right decision to move up. Why struggle unnecessarily?
  150. eyeontheprize

Worried about planned Anniversary meal out

go for your meal, choose healthier choices but enjoy it! I would avoid alcohol though
  151. eyeontheprize

If I can make it through tonight...

have your packs!! Can't be stressed enough! I missed a few packs last week and I can defo notice it on the scales, and I feel weak and shaky. You must must have them, good idea with the tetras. X

    CD 'maintenance' folk...please read

ok cool! thanks KD, it does make more sense to have the 1000 - 1500 in the one forum.
  157. eyeontheprize

Has anyone else had to use guesswork to set their goal weight???

i just picked the top of the healthy range. i have never been lighter than 15 stone since i was a kid so this is all new to me. i think i need to stay near the top as i don't want to look too skinny like a beanpole.
  158. eyeontheprize

    810 question

yum tofu. Going to have it tomorrow methinks, with some steamed veg. Ss+ is fab, don't know why I didn't start it sooner!
  168. eyeontheprize

    I'm devastated.....

can you go to a different doctor? I'm so sorry you are going through such a hard time, and it seems so unfair as you are taking a pro active step to try to lose weight too!
  169. eyeontheprize

    A question re maintenance steps

thanks Sunshine, starting tomorrow woo! i think the reason why i'm so keen to rush through ss+ and 810 (stupidly and i won't rush it, ill take my time) is because i am so excited about 1000. it seems like the sort of step i could stay on for ages and really enjoy. but i want to do this properly...
  170. eyeontheprize

    What else have you tried?

i lost a stone on weight watchers, it was just too slow so decided to switch to CD instead. all diets work, i know i could have lost weight on any diet i chose (not as quickly though) as my head was in the right place.

    BMI and Goals

seeing all these goals at 9 stone and 10 stone, i think my 12 stone goal is still massive! i know its silly to compare myself to others, as i am so tall but i still feel kinda like i should go further. but i know i would look silly at 10 stone and it would be so hard to maintain.
  175. eyeontheprize

    BMI and Goals

i set mine as just within the healthy weight range, at 12 stone 6. hoping to lose a few more lbs, maybe get to 12 stone by moving up the plans. that will give me a few lbs to play with in case of holidays or anything. 12 stone is a nice round amount though, but i know that those 6lbs won't make...
  176. eyeontheprize

    WooHoooo

well done! its a great feeling isn't it.
  177. eyeontheprize

    Exercise

anyone who swims reguarly noticed a change in how toned you are?
  180. eyeontheprize

    is it true?

bizarre! I hope not. Won't affect me but it's the perfect diet for peoe who want to step back from food for a while I think
  181. eyeontheprize

    mushrooms on ss+?

thanks curly. Now the eternal question. How to measure the veg out!! I'm just going to use a small cereal bowl or the amount the size of a fist roughly I guess. Any tips? Want to do it properly!
  182. eyeontheprize

    mushrooms on ss+?

thanks chickenpie! Legendary, I love mushrooms. Really looking forward to eating again, and moving up the plans
  183. eyeontheprize

    mushrooms on ss+?

quick question, can you have mushrooms on ss+? I know you can on 810 so just wondering really!
  184. eyeontheprize

    Quorn on 810? Too much?

I LOVE quorn. Starting ss+ on Wednesday, might have it then.
  185. eyeontheprize

    Nervous about weigh in

    how did you go emma??
  186. eyeontheprize

    Exercise

swimming is fab, I love it. Running might burn more calories but it kills my knees! I would rather swim anyday. But I am lazy as all hell, so really need to start doing something.
  187. eyeontheprize

Curlywurly is venturing over......and wants to stay slim forever more!!!!

yay good luck marissa! you will do fabulously, i know it. only a couple of weeks until i join you on 1000, cannot wait. looking forward to reading your diary hun

caroline, you are an amazing woman, thank you! this is perfect. you rock! it will be so helpful when i move up the plans, as i really have no idea about what a correct portion size is. thankyouthankyouthankyou!
  189. eyeontheprize

    I was just on TV!

Wow! Exciting! It must be strange to see what you looked like before the weight loss. I still feel massive, although if I had a video of myself beforehand, I might notice it more.
  190. eyeontheprize

    Ketosis and 1000 step

have you been drinking your water?
  191. eyeontheprize

    How sad am I!!!

    legend, thanks hun
  192. eyeontheprize

    A question re maintenance steps

thanks guys! I am going to start my maintenence diary next week, as even though I'll be starting on ss+, it will be the first steps toward losing the last little bit and maintaining. Hoping to crack the 12's this week, signs are looking good! Exciting.
  193. eyeontheprize

    How sad am I!!!

I would love a copy of the fruit spreadsheet for when I start 1000 in a month or so! I can totally see how it would be confusing.
  194. eyeontheprize

    So happy I could cry....

Well done sparkles!! That's amazing.I was stoked when I got into the overweight range, it's such a great feeling x

New attitude issue - a minor yet growing irritation

it's defo other peoples insecurities coming out!
  196. eyeontheprize

New attitude issue - a minor yet growing irritation

I agree, people have been telling me to stop for a while now. I ignore them, it's important to reach your goal, as I really want that sense of achievement and to lose this final stone or so. Don't worry about them, everyone who loses weight gets it. Congrats on your fab losses! X
  197. eyeontheprize

    Do you still gain weight

i dotn gain, but i can sts. and i really crave peanuts and ham! god knows what a nightmare i am going to be when i am preggers
  198. eyeontheprize

    A question re maintenance steps

thanks katycakes, very useful information. i think i am not going to be so set and rigid, i'll see how each step goes. i would really like to get to 12 stone, or anything below 12 stone 6 really. i am so looking forward to the maintenence steps, but this last bit is very difficult indeed!
  199. eyeontheprize

CDC please read me! Second thoughts about 810 - confused :(

doesn't ketosis just stop you from being hungry? not being in ketosis shouldnt stop your body from burning fat...am i right?

That's awful hun! Hope you are ok. Sending you hugs. That's bizarre about putting on 5lbs, it's obviously water weight but I wonder why it's affected you like that!

    never had strawberries!?!?
  204. eyeontheprize

1000 cals - what to expect

I am really interested in all these 1000 threads. I feel comfortable with ss+ and 810, as they are pretty straight forward but I think 1000 will be more challenging. Can't wait though, new potatoes and cous cous yay.
  205. eyeontheprize

    Decided to change my goals

I took it a half stone at a time. Works for me, looking at how much I had to lose at the beginning it was terrifying. Every time I got into a different stone bracket was a victory.
  206. eyeontheprize

    Stepping up to 1000

good luck curly! I have another 3 to 4 weeks depending on losses before I step up to 1000 and I can't wait! Let us know how you find it.
  207. eyeontheprize

Week 8 to 10 wobbles - advice needed from those who know!

I struggled week 8 to 10, small losses, very disheartening. I had an 810 week, kicked my metabolism and was raring to go again. I really think 3 months is too long to wait for 810 week. Every 5 weeks seemed much more sensible.
  208. eyeontheprize

    1 Month On Photos

  212. eyeontheprize

    DISAPOINTING WEEK

i have had weeks where i lost 1lb, 2lb etc and although its infuriating, it is also very common! they all add up so don't get disheartened. drink lots of water, have all your packs and next week you will see a bigger drop.
  213. eyeontheprize

    **THINNER THUSDAY HOUR BY HOUR***

well done charlie! thats fantastic, im so pleased for you. i weighed myself this morning, although my official weigh in day isn't until next wednesday, i am down to 13 2! i really want to get that 2 off the scales by next week, get into the 12's! have just arrived at work, luckily no dramas...

I'm just going to have to throw my trousers away...

I have one pair for work, wash after 2 wears. Dry overnight, repeat. Jeans on Fridays! LOL.
  219. eyeontheprize

When did people notice you'd lost weight?

I agree with your last point laura, I work in an office full of men who are all more interested in watching the cricket than their newly slimmed down office administrator! Most of them look like they can barely button their own shirts, gormless the lot of them.
  220. eyeontheprize

    Miffed......

I'm so jealous! I would love to go to the USA. My dream is to do 12 months around America in a campervan.
  221. eyeontheprize

Can you swap between SS and SS+ on the diet?

I think some people do this, and indeed I have done it, but fir best results it's best to stick to one or the other for a week. If you are finding ss hard, why not move up to ss+? The losses are very similar and it works better for some people.

a couple of stone for me. I agree, people notice but think it's rude to say anything sometimes. Am now getting the "stop losing...

When you want to give up.....or munch....

i look at myself in the mirror in the mornings and still hate what i look like naked! i still feel like i have another 8 stone to lose. really need to tone up, i think that's the main problem. thanks for your post netty, we can do this!
  228. eyeontheprize

How much did you lose in week 1?

11lbs for me! but i lost 14lbs a couple of weeks ago, i was very bloated and had been eating crap at glasto beforehand.
  229. eyeontheprize

    Constipation :::TMI ALERT:::

i used sennacot, it had it terribly and it was seriously the worst pain i have ever been in. when it gets bad, you need to clear out (sorry!) first then take the fibre supplement to keep you regular. apparently dulcolax is too strong, so try senna instead. good luck!

    **Wonderful Weightloss Wednesday**

my day is going well, even if my boss is working all day and i can't sneak out for a smoke as often as i would like! really must give up this nasty habit anyway, but i dread quitting then stacking the weight back on! i hate smoking but i hated being 20 stone more!
  237. eyeontheprize

Lost 8 stone in order to adopt
