    Let's give this a try...

    I think I must be odd. When I was on LT for 6 months a few years ago, I started off hating the soup but after a couple of months, I tried it again and liked it!! This time I have the soup once a day and 3 years on, it hasn't changed. It still needs beating to death to get rid of the lumps.

    I just say it's a medical diet. And I chose who I tell it's complete meal replacement. I just say to people that I replace some meals but don't go into much detail. The less people know, the less they feel they have a right to express an (uninformed) opinion.

    Yes, the first week is unpleasant. But once you hit Ketosis, you'll be a different person. You're sooo nearly there. Just plod on and get through the next couple of days and you wn't regret it. Your first weigh in will be such a triumph.

    If you're not motivated it's not the right time for you and I'd just put it away until you are. If you are not motivated you won't stick to it. You have to have a fire in your belly to do this diet and when you do, you'll know.

    You have to do what is right for you Mininini and for your situation. What I would say though, is be 100% sure before you come off as if you regret it and want to go back on it, you'll have to do week 1 all over again and that is the hardest week.

    I tend to have my first shake later on. I get up and have a pint of water and a coffee and then usually get around to having my first shake at 12ish depending on how hungry I am. If I'm not hungry I'll leave it longer. I tend not to have a set routine as I leave them until I feel hungry.

    It'll get better. It's your body adjusting. I get it too whilst my body is getting used to LT. Just hang on in there. Are you having sweeteners during the day? Try cutting them out until you are used to LT. This helped me a bit.

    yes..it's not the calories that keeps you in or out of ketosis. Its the carb amount. You could eat a tin of tuna and stay in ketosis as tuna is protein and has either no/low carb content. It you are really serious about going along this route, you might be better following the Atkins diet...
