Before and After - 9 weeks of TFR

This is my before and after shot - I did 9 weeks of total food replacement and managed to lose 3 stone - it was tough but much easier because I was doing it together with my partner. Now the hard work begins to both maintain and make sure I don't put the weight back on I have a good regime...

5 Days To Refeed (not that I am counting)

So 9 weeks on and 3 stone down, I am starting refeed on Saturday - I really can't wait and I am determined to try and keep the weight off this time. Looking forward to a fab holiday in a few weeks being a great size with a lovely new wardrobe. Any tips for refeed ?

    Flapjacks

Oh thats odd - the flapjacks are definitely not only for maintenance - maybe the pharmacy is getting confused with the caramel bar....... The flapjacks can only be used from the second week of the total food replacement diet, but they can be used. I agree its great to have something to...

    Flapjacks

I always like too try different flavours and recipes for lipotrim. Recently I discovered that flapjacks are nice if they are lightly grilled / toasted on either side - the warm through softens up the flapjack and actually makes them really nice. Just thought I would share.....

Hello - New and looking for advice

Hi there Slim Jim - glad to hear you have your shaker now - I like to have a mini hand blender at home as it does help. Flavour wise - so..... I do enjoy the chicken soup - not often, but around once a week I will have one - its not everyone's cup of team but it is ok for a change. I dont mind...

    Loss has slowed down

Hi Jintz - Yes definitely slowed down, I have been averaging around 4lb per week after it has settled down - I did manage a couple of short gym sessions last week which managed to energise me a little and I think help with my metabolism a little. Only had the energy to walk a little until now.

    Loss has slowed down

Ah thats good to know Angie - I was beginning to think I was doing something wrong - I have done the diet before and whilst there may have been the odd week with a smaller loss its always been a one off.. Thanks again Paul

    Loss has slowed down

Morning all - I wonder if anyone had any advice, I am in the middle of my 4th week and during week 3 and this week my losses have slowed right down - last week was 4lb and at this rate my weigh in will be around 3lb. I am fully in TFR and have not come out at all - I am having shakes, soups and...

    Goals and Reasons

Yes good thanks - I did weigh myself this morning outside of my official weigh in and was a little disappointed, but I am still there with the motivation I think :-) Mid way through week 3 - how are things with you ?

Hi everyone, Day 2 - TFR

Hey everyone - all good here - we are now in week 3 and all good now - have a little more energy and not feeling hungry at all - so far around 1stone and 4lb and around halfway through week 3 - all good - love this diet for its fast results.

Hi everyone, Day 2 - TFR

Yes thats one of the symptoms - I also notice my wee has a rather strong smell to it too which you wouldn't normally have when drinking so much water. I know some people say the best way to tell is by using ketostix which are basically dip sticks to test your wee, I think you can buy them...

    Your Favourite Flavour?

hahaha - I think we also tried once to make a 'muffin' with the chocolate one in the microwave - I don't think we ever did it again. lol

    Your Favourite Flavour?

My favourite is the chocolate - I like it hot, especially when Im because of the Ketones and need to warm up. Love the peanut flapjacks too - perfect for going out as you say, and also great to chew too - I don't mind the flavour and you just have to wash it down with a lot of water or...

    Goals and Reasons

Ah thats a good idea livedadream - I love running too - but had to give it up for a while to do lipotrim for a little while - I can't run at all at the moment, not enough energy but I think it will come back in a few weeks and I can do small amounts.

Hi everyone, Day 2 - TFR

Thats fantastic - well done. I started at 15st3 and this morning I was 14st9 - so I am looking forward to my 'official' number tomorrow. Thats what will keep us motivated. You are so right on the breath thing - I now carry a breath spray or listerine at all times lol

Hi everyone, Day 2 - TFR

Yes thats usually the same for me. I find that a hot bath is usually the only thing that warms me up sometimes. Nice of the family to sit in the other room to eat their chinese - I have found that sometimes I just like to look at the food to enjoy it - other times I can't face being near it -...

    Goals and Reasons

I can recognise all of those reasons - my food habits were out of control too and I didn't feel good about myself and the clothes I bought - I think I bought 'frumpier' clothes just because that was my mindset. This time having something to work towards like a holiday will be so motivational -...

Hi everyone, Day 2 - TFR

Its funny you say that about your face, i thought the same this week too - but dismissed it as being my imagination on the basis that it wouldn't happen so quickly - perhaps it did. Day 7 today and my first official weigh in tomorrow - looking forward to that as I know how much the weigh in...

    Goals and Reasons

Hi everyone, just wondering what everyone is working so hard on lipotrim for ? I am going on holiday to Australia for my 40th at Easter and want to be in good shape for that with a nice wardrobe. I am working on a 9 week plan to get me to my ideal weight and the trip is a great motivation...

Hi everyone, Day 2 - TFR

Yes I like to do all of them as a mousse, but I don't mind the flavours at all. I do prefer something hot in the evening, so either a hot chocolate or a chicken soup is good for me - although I can't handle more than a few soups per week. I have read some people say that for the hot chocolate...

    Hey

Hi Debbie - I am here too - my name is Paul and I am coming to the end of my first week. I have done Lipotrim before so I know what to expect. I love the programme as you see results almost daily. When do you start ? or have you started already ? Paul

Hi everyone, Day 2 - TFR

Thanks everyone - I can say Day 3 was a good one too - no headaches today and I am looking forward to my hot chocolate tonight (chocolate milkshake made with hot water) I agree with you nicb about not going to the cinema - the temptation in the first week is too much. When I have done this in...

    Advice Please on last week!

Hi all - I am after some advice please. Last night I slipped at the end of week 6 and have almost certainly thrown myself out of ketosis. I have one week left of TFR before I need to refeed. Loving the Mousse !

Yes - I ended up not being too keen on the 'chocolate brownie' that you cook in the microwave - it tasted a bit like half cooked cake mix - so I didnt make it again. I am not sure about the issue with hot drinks and microwaving etc - I always made the chicken soup with boiling water as well as...

    ot:omg dilemma....poorly dad help needed!

Hi Kelly - as irish molly said, would it be possible for your dad to join you on LT ? I have done LT before on my own and found it too easy to break - this time, I am doing it with a partner and with the two of us on it together to support each other, it has been fantastic. You may both find...

    Loving the Mousse !

You are exactly right Curleytop it does feel like that - I even love to lick the spoon as I am making it too. Claz - I dont think the vanilla comes up great as a mousse - but if you add a few teaspoons of coffee, I love it. Enjoy !

    tough morning

Well done to you - strangely I felt exactly the same today and even with only 1 week to go until refeed - I almost broke. Loving the Mousse !

1x lipotrim milkshake sachet (male) 4 x ice cubes 150ml water Add together into a blender and stick on full for a few minutes The result - a gorgeous thick mousse that you can eat with a spoon from a bowl rather than always drinking milkshakes. I always drink a lot more water though whilst...

    no weight loss

I am not sure if it will help but after a few weeks of only a few pounds of weight loss and our pharmacist expecting much more, she asked us to change the times of day that we take our shakes and not to be starving ourselves during the day. So instead of having 1 shake at 3pm and another at 8pm...

Hi all - we are two guys nearing the end of our 3rd week and we are both fast approaching the two stone mark. ?? flapjacks??

As someone mentioned, they are an acquired taste - me and my partner love them and really enjoy the variety that they add to a mainly liquid diet. not very well this morning...

Hi Gem - sorry to hear you are not feeling too great. I had the exact same problem last week with a migraine and blurred vision on day 2. I did post at the time and gather it is quite a common thing as your body is detoxing and going through several chemical changes. Last week by day 3 & 4...

Hi all, also had a blip at the weekend. Of course I am really disappointed but it is my first blip - hopefully feeling like this will stop me from doing it again. Does anyone know what happens now ? Will I go back into ketosis after a few days again and continue to lose ? Paul

Water, Water, everywhere. Any Tips ?

I am in my first week and I am learning little tips and tricks to handle the copious amounts of water I am drinking, such as going a certain way to work that ensures that I pass a bathroom at about halfway. I am also making sure that I stop drinking about 1.5 hrs before I go to bed so hopefully...

Starting 2 Panic - Tips on how to stayon LT in real life

Hi Alexandra - as someone else has mentioned, the best way to have the shakes away from home is by using a shaker. Day 2 / Newbie - Advice Please ?

Thank you both, I appreciate your advice. Willpower permitting, I will continue for the next 4 weeks and then decide whether I will refeed or continue on with the TFR. I am trying not to put myself in any position of temptation so I am not sure how I will fare if I was to stick to the...
