For me it was the quick weight loss, at each weigh in I was motivated to continue for another week, your weight drops far quicker on a VLCD than on a conventional low cal diet :D

Nicolaann is quite right - if you take the 32lb you have lost and divide by your starting weight of 340lb you get a loss if 9.41%, which is brilliant, well done, also when you have lost your target of 84lb you will have lost 24.7% :D

I used Palmers firming butter (it smells disgusting!) as I had the same problem, not sure if it was the firming butter or the fact that your skin takes a while to 'fit your new body' but my neck looks a whole lot better now :D

Just to add a bit more to BL's excellent explanation, if you still have weight to lose after the 100 days you can remain on abstinence (food packs, bars etc) or alternatively you can move on to RTM (route to management) where you learn to eat the right things and also find your trigger foods...

Although the carbs in the cranberry crunch & peanut crunch bars are only 14.4g & 13.5g respectively the carbs in the other meal bars is a huge 24.7g, therefore I would think this is the reason for only 1 per day :sigh:
