I keep getting the dreaded oil all the time now. I'm not eating anything naughty, in fact since it started I've cut out philidelphia as well. Been like it a week. Its making me feel down now, because I've no idea whats causing it. Anyone else had this problem?

Remember you need to take it straight before you eat though.

Nothing, just a waste of a tablet because theres no fat for it to get rid of.

For dinner I usually do things like baked potato, pasta, chicken, rice, loads of veg. Replaced marg etc with low fat phili. If you do need to use any oil I use the 1 cal spray one. I have crumpets for breakfast sometimes with phili on, yum.

Lose weight everyone else has? I only lost 5lbs in 4 weeks, thats hardly loads. But as my GP said, if you lose 1-2lbs a week its more likely to stay off. Plus they only require you to lose 1lb a week to prescribe them again. I feel like I've put all my weight back on at the mo so kinda know how...

Asdas version of baked crisps are slightly lower in fat than Walkers, and cheaper too.

Hi all I've had sick bug for last few days so not taken my xenical. Should I give myself a day after I feel better before I start taking them again or start as soon as I start eating more normally? :confused:

On Xenical, I honestly don't feel like I've lost anything & I've behaved myself. Had no side effects either. A bit sad about it at min. Going back to doctors end of next week so hopefully I'll be pleasantly (sp?) surprised

I'm exactly same, crappy veins, no blood ever comes out. I've had the fasting blood test before & they tested me for all sorts, think they just do a standard list of stuff for fasting blood test, like a 'we may aswell check for everything while we're at it' test :-)

Hi, I started last Monday and I've been same as you, feeling bloated and windy etc but no oily stuff or anything. I think as long as you eat low fat you won't get the horrible side effects, but I don't think that means they aren't working. Hope you get on ok :-)

Well, 3 days on, had no nasty side effects. Only thing I've had is my stomach making some really strange noises thats even woken my other half up at night, lol. Is this normal? Thought it might be with the tablets getting into my system.

I've been drinking what I normally do, but I don't drink alcohol or fizzy drinks, so dunno how that would affect you really, sorry. But dilute, things like Oasis haven't bothered me at all.
