    weight loss this week??

I lost 5lb in my first week and have my next weigh in tonight. I'm not so hopefull this week as I had a retirement dinner on Saturday night and the courses on offer didn't include any suitable choices - plus i has a small glass of fizz! With any luck the damage won't be too bad. Thankfully...

    First weigh in tonight!!

Everyone is different though and i'm sure if you keep on at it the plan will work for you. I can see how you would be disheartened though. My LLC said that within the first month I should lose 12 - 14lbs and about 10lbs in the next 4 weeks. If i get close to that I'd be delighted. Keep going -...

    First weigh in tonight!!

I'm really pleased with that & long may the losses continue. It isn't actually as hard as I thought it would be - taking the social situations out of the equasion that is. I've only been to one group meeting but I think that they'll be really helpfull.

    First weigh in tonight!!

I lost 6lb so chuffed with that. It's a new week and I'm very positive:)

    First weigh in tonight!!

It won't have been low fat soft cheese but it was the only option really & it wasn't a big portion. It's hard when you eat out which is why I'd rather avoid it all together. I feel guilty for eating it but didn't want to say to my friend I couldn't go :sigh:

    First weigh in tonight!!

To top it all I had lunch out today for my friends birthday. I swithered about not going as I didn't know what I would find to eat, but then thought that wouldn't be very nice of me. I had a salad with grilled goats cheese - so hopefully that won't do any damage. What do you think?

    First weigh in tonight!!

Well tonight I'll find out how the first week went. I've stuck to the plan even at a bbq at the weekend which was slightly like torture:cry: Not having a drink is bad enough for me never mind the yummy food. But I tell myself it will be worth it in the end. I seem to have managed to avoid...

    Day 3 & I'm hungry

That's why I agreed to go as I knew I'd get some salad and maybe a small bit of meat of some sort. I do like a drink or two over the weekend but I'm just looking forward at the big picture - off me in smaller jeans:D Is it possible to eat too much veg? that's sounds an odd question but I...

    Day 3 & I'm hungry

I have no side effects but I feel so hungry. I'm drinking loads of water and spreading out my foodpacks. I take it this will begin to wear off once ketosis kicks in? Well I hope so anyway. I have a birthday BBQ tomorrow too which won't be easy but I'll not be cheating. I think it would be...

    Started today

I'll just give the porridge a miss, I'm not keen on the normal stuff either. I'll try all the varieties and stick to the favourites. I've got a bbq this weekend so that will be my first challenge!! I'm hoping to lose 2.5 - 3 stone. There's no denying it, i'm sure it'll be very hard at times.

    Started today

Today is day one and I feel very positive, despite having to bin the porridge as it's horrible. This forum is great as everyone is so supportive and always there to offer encouragement. It's good to see everyones success:)

    Average weekly loss?

I was along at my information session last night and I've got my foodpacks, ready to start tomorrow. I've been trying to lose weight since the beginning of the year and it's just not happening. I'm fed up and want to shed some bulk now!! I'm really motivated and hope I can stick to it. I'll just...

    Average weekly loss?

I just wondered what the average weekly loss on LLL would be. Not started yet but plan to next week:)

    Newby - quick question

He may have changed his mind about it now but I'd rather not ask him. You're right about the diet pills though - they can do alot of harm yet they are so easily available. I've tried some but they're such a waste of money and don't work. Although LLL is expensive, from what I can see, it...

    Newby - quick question

I have also heard that my Dr doesn't agree with the programme and won't sign the medical forms:(, but I feel sure the Lite programme is the way to go for me. One weakness is wine - I shall miss that:cry: I've kept a pair of jeans from my thin days so one day I would fit into them :D I've also...

    Newby - quick question

I'm not sure I could cope with total abstinance and think the lite programme would be best suited to me. I'd just be happy with a steady weight loss and if i did lose 3 stone it would take me back to a weight I've not been in 8 years - perhaps a bit ambitious:). Even 2.5 stone off would be good:)

    Newby - quick question

Thanks for that ladies. I'm just so keen to get started, I hope I can start straight away. I think it may be a class I'm joining on the Monday night but I'll wait and see. I'd love to be slim for summer - 3 stone to lose:cry: This forum is soo inspirational by the way x

    Newby - quick question

I've made the decision to start LLL & I'm going along to an information evening once I return from holiday on the 13th. Will I be able to start straight away or do I need to wait a certain time? I've read that there's modules you need to complete in a certain order (I could be wrong in that)...
