    thanks Kikikisses! Yes it's been a long year and i've worked hard to shift those pounds, the first 6-8 months it was coming off quite quickly and i was sticking to plan most of the time, but then i lapsed a tiny bit, and even more so over xmas when i gained loads!! Hope your slimming journey...

    well pretty good news on the WI front, lost 1lb and finally got my 5 and a half stone award:) It's taken bloomin ages to lose that half stone thanks to xmas but i got there in the end. Hopefully this week will go well and if the weather stays nice i will try to walk a bit more at the weekend.

    you can still have an Indian from time to time Dave, there are quite a few lower syn options. Have you tried Moroccan Pie ( think that's what it's called!)? It's in the Green Day recipe book, very tasty and worth a try if you've not had it before.

    swimming is a great form of exercise as you are burning fat and toning without putting stress on joints, probably more effective than the wii fit, although i know you enjoy that too. Whatever you're doing it's obviously working as you've lost loads:) well done and keep it up.

    i used to fill carrier bags with the weight i'd lost. Now i go by the measurements each month and it helps to keep me going. Well done, you are doing well. People will start to notice soon and i bet your clothes are looser.

    thanks girls:) It's amazing how one night off plan affects you, i had the munchies all weekend and had to resort to scoffing pickled onions again!!! At the mo the scales are showing a big gain so hope things settle by wednesday, i'm fighting off the urge to eat chocolates this evening.

    hi betty. sorry you've had a bad week:( Do your weigh in tomorrow and if it's not good, draw a line and keep on going. Trying to be 100% until xmas is a huge challenge hun, take it a day at a time and don't let one over synful day get you down, you can do this:)
