    I'm Back

I lost 7 stone on Lighterlife earlier this year but was forced to stop due to illness. I am much better now and started back on LL on Monday, today is Saturday and when I weighed myself this morning I had so far lost 17lbs. I still have two days to finish my first week and already I have beaten...

    Ton Up

Reached my 100 lb weight loss this week, that's over 7 stone now gone. Feeling great and looking forward to going on holiday next week with a case full of new clothes. :bliss:

What's worse? Eating extra packs or eating food? Particularly after Foundation.

For me, I could still lose 2lb or 3lb a week if I replace a pack with a high protein low carb meal but it would still be costing me £66 a week to do so. For that cost I am going to get through it as quickly as I can and that means sticking to the programme rigidly. If I cheat I am only...

    Something to cheer you up

A man asked his wife what she'd like for her birthday, "I'd love to be ten again" she replied. On the morning of her birthday he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Coco Pops and then took her off to the local theme park. What a Day! He put her on every ride in the park:* The Death Slide*...

How long should a person abstain from food?

Anyone got any views on this? I have been on LL for 3 months now and I am begining to get some symptoms associated with the programme, i.e. painful joints, stomach aches and gout. I am wondering if I should take a break for a couple of months to give my body a chance to catch up with my...

slow slow weight loss - please help

When the scales let you down get out the tape measure. Don't forget you are in for the long haul, look at your loss over weeks rather than days and you will see a different story. I have gone through bad patches like you Sez, I promise that you do get through them, just stick with it...

    WHEN TO EXERCISE????

Whenever I do something physically taxing it slows down my weight loss, I even put on 2lbs once after a hard working weekend in the garden. Although it is good to excercise to firm up, don't be disappointed if you don't lose the weight you were expecting to shed.

Lactic acid - ok to drink??

We have been told by our LLC that we can have artificial sweeteners in tablet form but not powder form. I guess that whatever sweetens the Cream Soda instead of sugar is crucial. I don't know much about Lactic Acid but if there is any possibility that it might negate the weight losing effect...

    Delicious Drink

Don't know if I have just invented this or if others have discovered it before me, but I just mixed a chocolate pack into a cup of hot peppermint tea and it tasted delicious. The LL programme is not the most exciting thing to be on as far as my taste buds are concerned so to find something...

    LighterLife Men

At the risk of peeing you off Magickme, and reminding you that men lose weight easier and quicker than women, I have been on the LL programme for 81 days today and have so far lost 74 lbs. I still have some way to go before I lose as much as you but I am really pleased with my loss so far, it's...

    LighterLife Men

Katie, we have a hard core of 6 men in our group and there are others who come and go. We have lost a few of those who had just 3 or 4 stone to lose and have left us to go into management when they reach their goal but there are a smaller group of us who need to loose a lot more. Our LLC has...

    LighterLife Men

As a male on the LL programme not only do we meet seperately from women on the programme but we also have totally different booklets etc. and our sessions are different. I don't know of any other weight loss programme where the sexes are seperated but I suppose there must be good reasons for...

    Starting LL in April

Hi Hi, I have just discovered this forum so thought I would say hello. I am on the LL diet and have been since the end of January, this week my total loss so far reached 5 stone, about half of what I need to lose. I have found the programme OK up until now but I must admit to getting a...
