    Been a while!! Update...

Thanks hun ;) Yeah, it does seem to slow right down, but at least it's still moving, and it's probably more exciting when I step on the scales and I've dropped a pound or 2 :) Keep up the good work hun, you're doing great xx

Eyup everyone, hopefully someone will remember me!! Thought I'd come on here and give you an update, and hopefully give any new starters a ray of hope!!... As you may (or may not) remember my starting weight was around 21 stone (I'm 5'10" and male).... Im down to 15 stone so far, with a...

    New Pack New Start

In answer to your question, I would say YES, definitely the weight drops off quicker the heavier you are, and I would think that the fact you are smaller would certainly be a contributing factor to the slow loss that you're seeing. You will do it, just don't get disheartened, I know it's hard...

    New Pack New Start

Looking at that I cannot understand how you are not losing weight. I know you're not huge so the weight will come off slower, but you look as if you're doing everything right. See how you get on now you're going to be doing slightly more exercise, good luck, and don't give up ;)

    Bingo wings

I worry a lot about loose skin after weight loss too, my arms and legs will be fine I think, but I do worry about my stomach....I'd hate it if I couldn't finally go on the beach with confidence, although I do agree that it's much much better than having the weight :)

    Help with exercise.....

    Help with exercise.....

I want one, but unfortunately I can't seem to sell the good lady on the idea, not even a Jack Russell :( I could buy one of those invisible dog leads I guess and pretend.

    Help with exercise.....

Hi everyone ;) Although I am doing pretty well in terms of weight loss on Xenical I don't really get much exercise and I really struggle to push myself to do it. I have a bad nerve near my pelvis which restricts my walking after a while, but walking is the only thing I can get myself to do. I...

Just a quick thread of praise :)

Just felt like saying that you are all an inspiration and I'm really proud of all the progress that you have all made, it really is great to be able to read about how well you're all doing. And to anyone that's in the 'plateau' stage (like I seem to be)...Keep going, you will kick yourself if...

    Wedding food

As long as you don't lose your will (which you obviously haven't!) then it's all good, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, at least now you know you can deal with these situations without going to pot :) Well done x

    Hello! Newbie here!

Hi there!! I've been on it for about 2 weeks now, and no problems at all. You may feel a little more urgency about going to the toilet once in a while, but nothing serious. Just keep to a very low fat diet and you shouldn't run into too many problems :) I started mine on a Friday night so I...

    Burgers

Ha ha, I was worrying about BBQs too now that the sun seems to be making an appearance! I reckon I'll just get some wholemeal cobs and fill them with some sort of BBQ chicken breast. I think as long as the portion size isn't ridiculous then it shouldn't be a problem. Jon x

    Wedding food

Hey, don't worry, we all have those days, even me, and I'm a bloke!! ;) Don't beat yourself up with worry about the food, I'm sure you'll find something to nibble on that isn't too bad, and hey, even if you do slip slightly just remember it's a one off, a special occasion, and then get back on...

    weight loss

I agree. I always seem to drop the first bit of weight really quick, and can lose a stone in no time on slim fast, but after that I just plateau. I think that's the hard bit about dieting for me, I get disheartened too easily and I'm too impatient. The only way to do it really is a complete...

Hi, new to Xenical and have joined for support :)

Ha ha, thanks New Clare :) I'm ok, nothing much to report, have now lost a total of 8lbs over about 5/6 days, so I'm happy so far :) I'm missing junk food a little but still feeling strong and positive so I'm hoping this is the real deal!! No harsh side effects to report too, which is...

Hi, new to Xenical and have joined for support :)

Thought I'd give an update...... I think it's about 3 days since I posted, and I have lost 5lbs already! And I've not really felt like I've made too many sacrifices to be honest. My day consists of something like this; Muesli with semi skimmed milk for brekky Something on wholemeal...

Hi everyone, I'm new to all this and have just started Xenical, so thought it may be nice to get some additional help from you guys. Here's my story.... I've led a life of excess which has now caught up with me in a big way, I am a 30 year old male living in Derby, UK. My current weight is...
