    Starting LL next week

I would definitely recommend splitting the water across the day, it's not that much when broken down. The packs taste a bit odd the first few days, but do improve so persevere and the hair loss doesn't effect everyone so don't worry too much about it. I have just noticed I am shedding more hair...

Has anyone tried the LL app?

I use it, it really only tracks your weight and bmi, and shows it in a graph which is quite motivating, hopefully they will add more functions to it in the future. They should probably link the official forum to it, once they have made the forum more user friendly of course!

The packs you don't like in the first week are definitely worth revisiting as I am sure your tastes change as you get into it. Great thread! Quite simply, lsing my weight means I can finally be the person I always knew I was inside, but was too scared and ashamed to show to the rest of the world. I have a strange feeling of coming home since hitting goal - I am finally me - having spent all of my adult life trapped...

    ADVICE FOR RtM BEGINNERS

Hey Madam Mimm, Don't be anxious about eating again. I know that it can be a little daunting, but you should enjoy the new phase of your journey. After abstinence, the tastes and smells are quite overwhelming - enjoy each new taste sensation. The best advice I can give is to stick with...

It is sensible to make a definite decision on this, and it sounds as though you have made the right one for you. I agonised over mine, and ended up setting the date option. I have lost weight in RtM - but am still chasing that last pound, which while insignificant in the scheme of things, is...

I didn't do much at all on abstinence, tried to walk as much as possible, and the odd run here and there. Now I have started RtM though I have decided to pick up the pace alot to get my body toned and fit. I do yoga, netball, spinning and running every week - and I want to try Body combat...

Thanks guys - I hit the gym and ran/cross trained 600 cals - that should make up for it! Will also do the water thing just in case! Miss Betthany - my before and after pics are on the success story thread if you would like to see! Will get some better ones posted over the weekend though...

    Question for RtM pros!

Well....pleased to report my first attempt was a success! And very very yummy. I took advice from here, and added a couple of small teaspoons of sugar free jelly (dissolved in in hot water first - make sure you properly dissolve it or it goes a bit lumy as mine did!). Then filled up with...

Thanks everyone - that's great! I will give it a go and report back later! Monkey - I am the same, because my RtM classes are on a Friday, I need to do a shop that brings in the next weeks choices at the weekend, so have to remind myself when I can actually have something! Looking forward to...

    Question for RtM pros!

Hey - yet more questions. Just wondered if anyone had tried to make the blamange (sp?) style dessert suggested in the book (sugar free jelly and a pack). Just wondered what quantities I should use and how long it takes to set etc? Thanks! Leesy xox

    For those who are struggling

Sorry to hear you are struggling Lady - but I think you will find it is very common at this stage in your journey - talk to your counsellor and I am sure she will agree. Not sure why - maybe its the midway point feeling of foundation, I have no idea. But lots of us in my group found week 8 a...

    Losses on RTM?

Not a great deal of guidance Deb beyond the standard... a portion of protein is the size of your palm. It makes me a little mad

The effects of not enough water...........

Blonde Logic is right Claire - the water is most important because you are not getting any water through the food you eat. Smoking

I gave up smoking for over two years before I started Lighterlife, and just recently took it up again - mostly as a result of non-diet related stresses.
