right so ill stop listening to other peoples opinions and try the original recipe first :-) well as mine was too bitter i have now wizzed it in the mixer with the sweetner i left out before baking :-) and used it as a cheesecake base and made a quark cheesecake topping its chilling in the fridge...

right what kinda cocoa are you guys using? coz i made it with 1 oz of sweetner coz of past posts saying it was too sweet ....and its totally bitter .....we are talking the unsweetend baking cocoa arent we???

i make a tzatziki dip by adding some fizzy water to the quark (just enough to give it a nice creamy texture) cut up half a cucumber into tiny cubes 3 garlic cloves and salt n pepper to season...but you can also add fresh herbs and stuff like that

gonna have to give this one a go....but everytime i make something sweet with eggs in it it just tastes sooo...well eggy...if u know what i mean lol like the sw pancakes some people love them but for me it was a sweet omelette and couldnt get used to the taste:confused:

hey i don't know if this helps but i dont just parboil i boil for the full time that spuds need and then put them on a tray spray with fry light and put them in the oven for about 45 mins at 180°c
