    2013 Newbies :O)

Hi all, I am starting SW tonight again, 8/1/13. Have no idea what my weight will be yet, I know Ive put quite a bit back on, particularly throughout the winter, but I hope I will still be slightly lighter than this time last year which could be a positive (if true)! HEX B Bread

That question sounded a bit daft, of course 57g means the weight not the type of bread, I just got a bit confused, cos cant understand why they specify different brands of bread and different quantities, if that makes sense, thank you anyway
  10. mistyme

    HEX B Bread

Sorry for being a pain, but it does say 57g of wholemeal bread, so it doesnt matter what size the loaf, as long as the slice/slices dont add up to more than 57g? Is that right, probably sounds very straighforward but just want to double-check

    HEX B Bread

Hi all, just a wee query about bread as a hex, I was having a slice of wholemeal bread (800g) as my HEXB, but suddenly realised the only bread of this quantity on the list was Allison Wholemeal Thick Cut bread, if it is not on the list, I assume I cant have it? My book is year and a half old...

Good luck, Ive been doing EE all week, but kind of messed it up by accident, I was aiming for 4lbs this week but now will be happy with any loss, 7lbs is quite a high target to maintain, and believe me 2lbs will be great, it all adds up, good luck xx

Extra Easy week 3 weigh in :)

I have only lost 3.5 pounds in 3 weeks (had a gain last week) so you are doing very well, just keep going, I spent first 3 weeks comparingmyself to everyone else and it nearly drove me insane (not to mention nearly driving me to not so good food)! Go with your strengths, focus on you, and not...

Swapping Healthy Extras - cheating or not??

Thank you so much, I thought I had brilliant week until I read that thread last night, I could have kicked myself, I have checked and double everything else this week and was remiss on that front, fortunately there were a few things on my Syns that I could transfer to HEB and then add the...

Fell off the wagon - big time :-(

I had my birthday 2 weekends ago and when I got weighed in on Thursday I had gained a 1/2 pound. Every single person in my class had lost, I felt so demoralised and deflated, my first thought when I left was to go out and have few drinks, but I logged onto this site instead just to connect with...

    Hello

Swapping Healthy Extras - cheating or not??

I see what you mean, never thought about it that way before, but I am pretty new to it, there must be a reason for it, SW seem to work it out in some kind of scientific way, you should really ask your consultant about that, but it is a really good point, I am on on EE and I have 28g of special K...

What's the one tip you would give to anyone starting

I just started SW few weeks ago and I was all over the place, this has been my best week for getting on top of it all, I have prepared my menu in advance, I have wrote everything down this week (it is a good way of keeping track of HEs, Syns etc) I have visited SW website Syns calculator if not...

    Addicted to Chocolate

Hi, I am exactly the same, I crave it more at night after Ive had all my fruit, veg, free food etc, I usually have a SW hifi bar or alpen light with a cup of tea in the evening, I wish I could break the habit, but as long as I stay within my Syns then I dont mind. But Claire is right the less...
