    Would anyone mind if I joined in? I'm not sure when this is going up to but last year I put on something like 9lbs over Xmas and I wanted to set my self the goal of not putting on more than 6lbs (ie less than half a stone).

    well I was at my brothers last night and he cooked us a lovely indian and I drank a bit too much wine. SO I'm using yesterdays weigh in as I can claim a 4lb loss instead of just a 2lb loss :p Week wise.....eh food has been pretty good actually but not too hot with the walking.

    Doctors had me at 89kg which was what I had myself. So he said that was about 2lbs from last time but I pointed out that I'd put on a lot over Xmas :)

    I think that's fair enough Jenny. I know it sort of defeated the purpose but I didn't take tablets when I knew I was going to have no control over the food either. I think the toughest challenge is to try and moderate yourself over Xmas. All that lovely food and you just have to try and say NO!

    I calorie count with the help of myfitnesspal. I do find it a bit hit and miss though but a good general guideline. Specially as I know how many calories I'm burning with my exercise :)
