    DOING SW FROM HOME???

I was wondering, do you guys all have the packs or do you just use the info from this site? Joining a group really isn't for me at the moment and I don't have a spare £60 to join online. The packs are on ebay but the prices are rediculous! Is it really necessary or can all the info be found on...

    Jillian Michaels Dvds

As a total beginner where exercise is concerned, I need some advice on which one of her dvds I should start with? All the reviews I've read say about how extreme and intense they all are & whilst I want an effective workout, I don't want to keel over in the process!

    Beginners exercise DVD

Are there any 10 minute solutions dvds in particular that you'd recommend? Been reading the reviews on amazon & just find myself more and more confused now!

I had a look at these on Amazon and was completely overwhelmed! Which one would you recommend for a total beginner who can't walk up the stairs without feeling like she needs an oxygen tank?!

    Beginners exercise DVD

I'm totally new to exercise, it's been about 6 years since I did anything more than walk to the bus stop. I suffer from lower back problems, asthma and weight gain related knee & ankle problems. Can anybody recommend an exercise DVD that will help shift some inches without making my problems...

    Online Users

Does anyone use WW online? If so, would you recommend it? I've been planning on going back to my old WW group for weeks now, but my shifts at work have been all over the place lately, which means by the time it gets to Saturday I'm either so tired I sleep right through my alarm or I've got...

    rejoining advice

I've faffed about between diets for the last 2 years. And as a result, am 2 stone heavier than when I first started. The time has come to do something abut it-mainly because I've been invited to a VERY glam wedding at xmas and really would rather not look like a whale amongst the skinny WAG...

    Going It Alone

Hey boys and girls of the WW world :wave_cry: I've been thinking of coming back to what I know, and re starting WW. I followed the plan late 2008, just as the Discover Plan was introduced. I find that I'm really struggling on SW, so I've decided to start WW again. I don't really want to join an...

    Heyelp!

I'm not a likkle wall flower. I've tried to speak to not only her, but everyone else in group-both last time I was a member and this time. I've spoken up when we're supposed to be having a 'group' discussion and get cut off. Last week I actually said to one of them excuse me I'm still talkng. On...

    Heyelp!

I re joined my old SW group a couple of weeks ago and I'm kinds of regretting it already... Aside from the fact that my head isn't in the 'zone' (translation, I'm still eating tons of cr@p like a big piggy!) I feel as uncomfrotable as ever at group! Don't get me wrong, about 98.5% of people...

To go to a meeting or not to go...

I've got the first 5 weeks booklets, I think! Definitely got the ones that give you the gist of the plan. And I've got a Points calculator. Anything else I need such as the shopping guide can be bought off the website. It's just, almost 20/25 quid a month just to get weighed seems like a waste...

To go to a meeting or not to go...

that is the question! I joined WW about 18 months ago, only stuck it out for a couple of months. However, in that time I rarely went to meetings. I bought 2 monthly passes in that time but hardly ever went. I'm not really a joining kinda person and didn't really gel with any of the groups I...

    Sainsbury's

We have a massive Sainsbury's where I am and they have a great range of cereals and yogurts-including sustain and lasting satisfaction. I can't comment on the WW sausages cuz I don't like sausages in general! Have you got an Asda near you? They always have oodles of WW stuff

    Snow!

We had about 10 minutes of snow in South Manchester yesterday, it was really blizzard-esque for those 10 minutes though! And it happened literally just as I got off the bus from work, and still had a 20 minute walk home  I'm very nervous about my family driving in this weather-I don't...

    Apologies - another rant

I may be able to beat that-our manager has just sent an email round telling everyone what they need to bring in for our xmas eve buffet! For Pete's sake-can't we at least go round the corner to pasta Hut?!

    Apologies - another rant

I think there is a certain degree of pettiness there-but NOT on your part. It's a blimmin school-they feed 100's of mouths, what's one more? Entitlement or no, what about the season of goodwill etc..? What about not being a moo moo and clapming your mouth shut and letting the person who isn't...

    Kitten

We recently became the proud owners of a baby Rex rabbit. he is the most adorable thing I have ever seen but he refuses to go anywhere near his litter tray! He has widdled everywhere else, including, my mum's side of the bed, which seems to be his favourite place!

    Snow!

I'm SO jealous, I'd love a white xmas. Haven't had one since I was a kid-and my 21 year old sis has NEVER seen one! The traditional Mancunian grey skies are a bit strange looking today so you never know... :fingerscrossed: Oh, and that funny orange ball keeps trying to appear up there as...

X Factor ... how different it might have been

:8855: I'm glad I wasn't the only one that she had that effect on! She has a nice singing voice but I'd have hated it if she'd one because you'd have had that hyperactive annoying voice on GMTV first thing yesterday morning! It's such a shame Danyl was voted off, but as previous contestants...

    So ashamed of myself

Thanks for all the help, it means a lot. xx I'm in the process of composing an email to my consultant-I feel better telling her via email rather than in group where I can be overheard. Yesterday I spent a lot of time thinking about what some people said on this thread. I came to the...

    So ashamed of myself

I joined SW on Monday night and was all excited and very gung ho about the whole thing. Here we are, 2 days after I started the plan properly and I have totally fallen off the wagon :break_diet: I'm really really fed up-so fed up I could barely drag myself out of bed. I spent last night...

I feel a bit strange today

I'm not an expert on SW by any means, but I think that on any plan, to binge and keep within syns/points/calorie allowance is a major achievement in itself. If it were me I'd be very proud of myself. It could have been a LOT worse. Looks like Slimming World's teaching you some new tricks! :D

I'm either very brave, or very very stupid!!

Thanks for the tips! I was the same on WW. There were nights when i was so hungry I literally cried myself to sleep. No wonder I kept falling off and going on week long binges! Well, as of tomorrow, I shall be hungry no more! I'm going to TRY to be patient and count every loss, no matter how...

I can't believe we can eat so much-I had to ask my consultant how the heck eanyone managed to lose eating all that lot! I'm so used to that starving feeling from when I was on WW! That's my first mini goal-half a stone lighter by New year weigh in. Hopefully it's not too unrealistic. I...
