    Day one - again!

I just wanted to say good luck for your restart, it sounds like you've had a rubbish time recently, but hopefully there are good times ahead. I've just restarted myself yesterday - it's much easier the second time around I think. Xx

    August Challenge!

I'm like LazyDaisy - I don't post much! I did Exante a few months back, and I'm trying to lose 10lb this month. I need to change my stats but I was 72.3 kilos on Tuesday morning so I shall use that as a starting point. BTW, PrettyPaula, I love your 'Joan' signature! PrettyPaula - Target...

    Roll call...

I'm here, I just don't get to post as much as I'd like - no internet at home at the moment, and when I'm at work I often have time to read threads but not to type a response!

    March Challenge anyone?

Yay, I'm a loser again! A pound and a half this week - 'healthy' is almost within my grasp! oooh, size 10 jeans....

Wow - get you! I'm incredibly jealous!!! I always feel that the cheaper clothing retailers (tesco, primark etc.) cut a little bit tighter than other shops, personally, so I'd be even more chuffed!

    Calling all brides-to-be!

It's a workout DVD - the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred - I certainly feel the effects in my arms! I'm only on the first level at the moment, but I think it is a really good workout, especially as it is only 27minutes long.

    Calling all brides-to-be!

I'm hoping that if I stick to the diet and work out enough with the 30 day shred that my bingo wings will be under control for my wedding - less than 13months to go now!

    phone number

I've had a look on my emails from Exante - there is no phone number, but they have usually responded very quickly to emails, or they have a postal address on their website. Sorry I couldn't help more.

    Need to moan

Aww, I think we all understand how you feel. Stay strong and come on here to let off steam as much as you need. I think contraceptive hormones can affect different people in different ways. I used to be on a combined pill, which was easy enough to lose weight with, in fact I lost about...

    March Challenge anyone?

I stayed the same this week, but that was my own fault due to a bit of 'wagon tumbling' at the weekend when I saw my friend for her birthday! It was only a slight tumble from the wagon, I may have fallen off momentarily but I've clung on and climbed back onto the wagon. I'm back on track now...

    March Challenge anyone?

    Lost a pound this week, but it was my 'add a meal' week so I'm happy with that. Putting myself down for 8lbs this month, as I will be on Working Solution. Yambabe - 14lbs - 14lbs to go - 0lbs lost Lou1978 - 14lbs - 14lbs to go - 0lbs lost Chris405 - 14lbs - 14lbs to go - 0lbs lost Mush -...

    Inspiration

I have several things inspiring me - I want to look good for me; I feel happier and healthier when I'm lighter; I love shopping for clothes and want to be able to walk into any shop without wondering if my boobs, hips or thighs are going to be too big to fit; My doctor is scary and shouts at me...

    A quandry...

That is a very good point about seeing how you look sitting down in the dress - my boobs make every opportunity to show off and I don't see why they would behave any better on my wedding day. I definitely want a lace up back on my dress, then my darling maid of honour can strap those bad boys...

    Do you visualise your weightloss?

Went to Argos to pick up some weights and an exercise mat yesterday - the combined total of the weights was 6kgs and it felt quite heavy carrying it back to the car. I later realised I have lost around that much since January, so I was effectively carrying that around with me all day! Made me...

honk if you were 100% today

I went off the rails with a couple of quorn party sausages yesterday - but they are only 16 calories each and high protein/low carb/low fat, so I think I got away with it! I can honk for today so far - but the rest of the packet of party sausages will be waiting in the fridge when I get home!

I like to have a glass of fizzy water out of a champagne glass when I'm in the bath - it feels quite decadent!

Little things that lift the mood

I had one of these moments yesterday - I went to clarks to try on knee high boots - before Christmas I couldn't do the zips up on the wide fit boots, but yesterday I could not only do them up, but I could also get my hand in the side of them! Unfortunately my calves are still too big for the...

    A quandry...

I too have scaffolding worries - at first I was insisting on having a dress with straps so I could get a bra underneath it, but now I'm losing weight I'm hoping a strapless might be an option - gotta sort out my bingo wings first! Not sure how well scaffolded the Chinese dresses are, but...

    Justgina's Exercise Log

I am so feeling it in my arms today! Didn't help that we had puppy training class last night, and my monster of a puppy (he's 20kg and not quite 5 months old!) dragged me round for most of the lesson - he's a workout in himself! My lovely H2B has said he will do the shred workout with me...

    A quandry...

I was considering ordering a dress from China - I adore the 'Hollywood dreams' style dresses, but I am in no way prepared to spend £2500 on a dress I would wear for one day - it's not like you can just pop down to tesco in it afterwards! I've seen some lovely styles on a Chinese dress shop site...

    Certain times..

I always have a shake before I leave the house for work, then as I'm a teacher I always have lunch at around the same time, but in the evening I do vary it - sometimes I wait until a programme I want to watch is on TV and have a vanilla shake as a treat! And last night I was home late and ended...

    A quandry...

I'm a terrible one for 'buying to slim into' - I have half a wardrobe of clothes I've never been able to fit into. Personally, I am holding off on buying my wedding dress until I have lost more weight - the dress I would pick for before I had lost any weight might not be the dress the 'thinner...

    Justgina's Exercise Log

I just got the 30 day shred dvd after people on here were talking about it, did it last night and definitely feeling it in my arms, legs and tummy - more so than a 45 minute body attack class used to leave! What a great workout - and being in short sections the time goes quickly. Good luck...

Little things that lift the mood

I'm enjoying having less of a muffin top going on! Had a funny 'yay' moment the other day, I was out walking the puppy with my fiance, and my hold ups (I don't like tights) decided to stop holding as my thighs are slightly less thunderous than they used to be - it was embarrassing as I kept...

Thanks TT and Gina, I am feeling much better and back on total again now. I did quite enjoy WS, although I was desperate for cherry tomatoes and red peppers! It was good to eat some 'proper' food again, I had a lovely stirfry with quorn and some very nice salads. The best thing was...

    Newbie to VLCD and Exante

Hi and welcome! I've done weight watchers in the past as well, and whilst I think it is a very good plan, I feel that doing Exante Total gives you the chance to evaluate your relationship with food, which was what I needed at this point in my life. As for your questions, I know YamBabe has...

Day 3 and i'm really hungry!!

Try drinking more water, it can help with the hunger. I also found green tea was good for the first few days - I believe it is fine to drink, I'm sure someone will correct me if not. As far as I understand Ketosis can take different amounts of time for different people, I know I was definitely...

    February Challenge

I weighed this morning and lost 2lb this week. I am really pleased with that as I have been ill and the doctor told me I needed to eat some extra fruit and veg as well as having the shakes and soups, so I've had a few days following working solution and I've not been able to exercise. I'm...

Well, it was my first weigh-in this morning of this diet and of this month. Lost 5 pounds, so that is a start at least! I am a tiny bit disappointed, as I have followed the diet to the letter, and I know others have lost more in their first week, but I shall look on the positive and remind...

    Starting exante diet!

The good luck wishes must be paying off, I feel great! I'm amazed that I don't feel hungry, and I was very pleased yesterday to get into a size 14 skirt that I wore for my third date with my now-fiance - I haven't been able to get into it for well over a year! Tummy tamer, it was you -...

    Starting exante diet!

Thanks for your replies - I feel really welcome here! I thought the refusal to let me buy ketostix was ridiculous - I'm trying to improve my health and after all it is only something you test your pee with! Would they refuse to sell a pregnancy testing kit to a man just because he isn't the...

    Starting exante diet!

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would post on this one seeing as I just started Exante yesterday. My biggest problem so far was the pharmacist who refused to sell ketostix to me, but I've overcome that by ordering them online. I've read a few of the posts in this forum, and you...
