Bit contentious - A Night Out

LipoLisa - my advice would be to do a refeed for a few days before and enjoy yourself properly as i'd be worried about the alcohol. I'm in the same boat myself. On St Paddy's day i'll be heading to a big football match in Dublin and i'm worried because nobody (except for my girlfriend) knows...

    Lipotrim & Stubble

Funnily enough, I think i'm the same, although with my baby face ;) it takes me ages to go anything resembling a beard as it is, but it's definitely slowed down a bit.

    Don't think it's for me

want2loseit - fair play for giving your pharmacist a listen to. It takes a lot of courage to keep on with something so tough, especially since you had probably made up your mind that you were giving it up. Good luck...

    Wk17 weigh in - 4st cracked!!!

That's fantastic. Just to think of losing 4 stone - and how different you must feel. Also, the race thing - fair play. That's something i'd love to end up doing. I was seriously struggling today until I came on here and read these stories. Gives me a bit of motivation back.

    ?? flapjacks??

Good stuff mate. How do you feel with the fat burners etc? Your pee isn't purple with pink stripes or anything? ;)

    ?? flapjacks??

I only get them because they're handy for me working late shifts. I feel like i'm eating that stuff that you always see behind a butchers counter on the floor. As for Ketosis, I test myself. As far as I know, you can buy them in boots - just tell them that someone in your family is a diabetic...

at week 7 i need food!

You're half way there, so completely quitting may be a mistake. You've done brilliantly so far. What are you craving? If it's decent stuff, maybe you should thing about the Maintenance programme - if that can be done. If it's just hunger, are you drinking enough water?

    Advice please... motivation

Yeah MummyT - the last time I did it, I sat and cried myself to sleep some evenings. It's one of the hardest things you'll ever do. All I can say is, take ALL of your shakes throughout the day. Try and drink at least 2 litres of water, and don't forget tea and coffee if you like it. The...

    Will it get easier?

I'd go with this. Also, don't up your time by any more than 10% per week if you have no experience of it. Within a few weeks you'll start to feel that 2nd wind and you'll be flying...

    KEEP CRYING THIS WEEK

There are studies that link weight loss with hormone shifts & changing emotions. I've been feeling it myself, especially when I know i'm going to be on this for months. I just have to keep my spirits up and know that i'm constantly losing my excess weight as long as I continue with this... :)

    Introduction For A New Guy

Hello Mike, I understand exactly where you're coming from. I'll be looking to get back to the gym soon, so i'll be keeping an eye on what you're doing because you seem to have your head screwed on about this, and part of me is worried about losing muscle etc. Good luck ...

making up the shakes. best approach?

Regarding the shakes - I put them in a blender with ice and water, blend the life out of the ice and water until it's slush, then gradually add the shake (and keep blending) so it comes back out like a smoothie - then I sit there like a big child and drink it through a straw. I rarely get any...

    Crosstrainer & LT?

I was looking at their website. The only thing that puts me off is that you have to fill in an enquiry form online, and I just want to know prices, as opposed to being invited up, phone calls etc etc. The place looks great though.
  54. beatthebelly

    irish??? yes :D

...and that's a lazy way of looking at it. It's usually what you hear from people who have never had weight to lose. We all have our reasons for doing it, and as much as the quickness that the weight comes off is certainly a factor - it isn't anywhere near being the only reason, or it just...

Gonna take a break from TFR

Molly, I did Lipotrim a few years back - lost 2 1/2 stone in 5 weeks, but then I had a week which included a communion party, a concert, 3 birthdays (including my own) and another night out. It was painful, and I held off until the last birthday where I got pished, and bang - I didn't get back...

Starting lipotrim 25/2/2010 need some motivation

I don't know about anyone else, but I use the peppermint tea - let it sit until it cools down, and then add it to ice - stick it in the blender, and then add the shake. A lot of prep, but it does help me tbh. What you are saying above about the timing of your shakes - whatever gets you through...

    Started Lipotrim today!

Just be careful with the exercising at the start. It takes a bit of a while to get used to it. When I did it before, I was told to expect to lose at least 1 1/2 st per month, and for women, it would be around a stone - not too sure if this has changed. Your bmi - is that not already in the...

    Exercise on Lipotrim

Yeah, i'm upstairs on the computer while the smell of food has wafted up to me, teasing me. I feel like I could give up, and i'm only in my 2nd day lol... I don't think it's bad. It also depends when you test yourself. If it's first thing in the morning, it's always going to be at its darkest...
