hi! i have been neglecting this board for a while though i dont now why!
am off on hols tomorrow though yippee so expect me to return making a fresh start and needing to lose at least 7 pounds!!!!
Same I have been here now and then - havent been following the plan though as i have been hectic. Oddly I have lost another 2 pounds though so maybe some of RC has wormed itself into my brain?!
Hi guys!
I was out thursday last week with the school prom, and then went to the peak district from fri-sun. Did a 15 mile hike on saturday but ate out in pubs and drank 3 bottles of wine.
I have lost -0.2 but I will say I sts!
My legs and arms hurt so much yesterday that it even hurt to sit down let alone do this again - does it get easier???? Are you sposed to do it everyday???
I did my first one today, and I have to say I was a tad hungover and it was SO DAMN HOT but I pushed through and got it done.
I am going to try and stick with this, itll be good if we are all doing it so we can egg each other on to move up to level 2 ;)
I really hate push ups!
thanks! why havent you weighed yourself? fear of putting on?
Am going to do the 30 day shred all through the week and then we are going on a walking weekend to the peak district so although active, i know the evening will be spent in the pub :)
Sensible week ahead eek!
Gained a pound this week, totally justified - 3 meals out! Not enough exercise as have been really suffering with hayfever.
Am away next two weekends aswell so its going to get tricky :(
Thats a shame, however, a pound of muscle weighs the same as fat so I dont know where they are coming from, lol!
True that your body is getting toned up, but isn't that what you want essentially? You could weigh 150lb and have a 30 inch waist because you are boxing, or you could weigh 150lb...
Hahahaha I think we are twins! I had half a bottle of wine, 2 beers, some thorntons fudge, wagamama dinner, m&s sandwich for lunch and a packet of snackajacks and some of a galaxy bar :( I felt disgusting this morning though!!
YUM YUM!!! I love fish and chips !!
Have you tried cooking your own chips in the oven? They are SO SO good, even my husband wont touch chippy chips anymore! Also, try rolling fish in polenta before frying it with spray oil :)
I have got back on it, did 30 mins kick boxing and 30 mins arm weights yesterday and today have done 30 min aerobics and 30min leg weights...Feel so much better for it too!
Haha I have ditched the wine for gin ;)
I have just had too many social functions on over the last couple of weeks and it was also half term. Now I am back at work, and have nothing coming up I know I can stay on track.
Thanks for all your support though I really appreciate it!
Started the 1200 plan today as I really went off the rails at the weekend despite picking myself up from the weekend before and exercising tonnes!
I am now feeling miserable, tired and stupid!
I have 9 weeks to lose a load of weight and I really want to do it! Wish me luck x
Emma, I too have an underactive thyroid and this is the only diet where I have gone UNDER 11 stones. With WW and others I always hovered - I must say though, the exercise part of RC is crucial!!!
..leaving the comfort of your routine and surroundings can really mess up your diet :(
Just got back from a long weekend with the family, for a wedding and get togethers. Think I have eaten enough food to keep me going for a month! Also, havent exercised for a whole week and I feel so guilty...
I am on half term tomorrow and have found this week really hard to cope with as I am so so tired and excited about my brothers wedding. I know that when I get back though, I have to get into it again - with my goal being going to Malaysia in 10 weeks time.
Have you got a goal you can set your...
I have been like this after the walk on Sunday but my OH came down with a bug and I think I have it too :( I hope it clears before the weekend as we have a wedding to go to! I feel really guilty for not being able to exercise aswell.
I would just cut back on the extra 200 calories you get and then enjoy it!
If you feel guilty afterwards, drink lots of water during the week and step up your exercise - its a special occasion!
I would say go to your meeting, take what is thrown at you when you step on the scales, and see it as a learning curve. It'll help you get a fresh start and a more positive week ahead. If you don't go you might think you havent put much on and continue the cycle :)
with the glorious weather yesterday OH and I drove to Wendover and did a 16km walk :) legs hurt soo much today but it was beautiful and a ncie change from the DVD in the lounge.....

I have gotten into the habit of having a tin of soup, with a slice of bread to tip in it and save my morning sack (fruit) and calcium (yog) for a dessert.
However, with all this hot weather the soup is going to be oncomfortably hot!
Has anyone got any nice ideas of lunch we could share and...
What I have been doing is on the day I get weighed, my OH and I have gone out for lunch/dinner and eaten something really nice but healthy - italian or harvester. That then takes up some of the extra calories that I dont eat during the week :) I have also had the h/f allowance on alcohol but...

The new Davina one is really good I am enjoying it although she does get on my nerves a bit. My OH hates her and tuts every time she tries to crack a funny so he is banished from the room when I am working out, lol.
As predicted, the legs are SORE today so much that it hurts to walk or sit...
I have just eaten as much veg as I want with my meals, usually sticking to green veg as there are less calories in it. PLus, it is better to fill up on veg than chocolate?
I bought the davina fit DVD as i needed a challenge from the rosemary conley one.
Did the aerobics and arm toning friday, aerobics yesterday and have just done the aerobics and leg toning today.

Thanks guys, I am quite annoyed with myself though as I drank a whole bottle of wine last night!!!! Thankfully it was day 1 of a new week and I can take it from this weeks 100 calorie high fat treat.
Thanks, the website for harvester has the values for all the meals, and with chips....so as long as I dont eat the skin (yuck) and swop the chips for a JP the fat content will be less.
How do you guys cope with eating out?
I have looked at the Harvester menu as we are either going there tonight or to an Italian and it looks reasonable in calories, plus you also get the salad which is healthy :)
Yup, 4.5 on my whole body - 2 on my waist :)
With all this exercise and my body shape changing I am not too bothered if the pounds fall off slower - the initial disappointment has now gone :)
My snacks yesterday were 150g strawberries and 4 gin and tonics.
I obviously need to track my snacks more carefully this week as I STS. I have exercised every day apart from Thursday so I thought I would have at least lost half a pound.
Anyways my measurements are more positive.
Waist - 36...

The Calorie, Carb and Fat Bible 2010: The UK's Most Comprehensive Calorie Counter: Amazon.co.uk: Juliette Kellow, Lyndel Costain, Laurence Beeken: Books
I already have the WW scales so am not going to cash out more until they die. I did buy a book on Amazon though with calories in it so we will see how that goes :)
Day 5 today and all is going well!
Hi,
I have just joined the forum, though this is my second time doing the Inch Loss Plan - in Jan and Feb I lost 9 pounds on the first month and then after my birthday I went crazy and put all the weight back on - well not all of it, but the 10 inches I had lost through exercising! :sigh...
