    Aldi Bargain....... never again!

That's funny you should say that.... I had exactly the same this week! I bought loads of fruit and veg from aldi and it was all beautiful (and still going!) apart from the lettuce! Although saying that, the icebergs i've had from tesco, and a market last week, have been exactly the same. I...

    More confusion with syns

I think the website can be misleading sometimes, as I don't think a lot of the EE syn values take into account the potatoes and chicken as free food - what does everyone else think? I've come across this before - Jaylou explains it much better than I can, maybe she can help out? If only we had...

2lbs ON and don't know what to do...

Good luck with the water challenge, I think you'll get really good results - i lost 4lb the week i started drinking 2litres a day! I hate drinking water though, so I added some No Added Sugar Double Concentrate squash (free! all the supermarkets sell it, it's usually their own brand) - i...

    Getting impatient now

Why don't you think about it like this.... If you were eating 3 meals a day of what everyone else was eating (naughty choices i bet!), you probably would have put on a minimum of 2lbs per week - 6lbs in total! So if you've lost 1.5, you've really saved yourself from half a stone! That in itself...

Where the bargains are at and anything else thats useful.

Aldi have WHOLE WATERMELONS for 1.99!! Amazing value, and they're absolutely gorgeous, have been eating all weekend! Their strawberries are beautiful as well for only 1.49, and they had 6 tomatoes, cucumbers, big bunches of salad onions and iceberg lettuces in their Super 6 for 39p each!

    So disheartened!! :-(

Why don't you try one of those rescue packets for getting dye out of clothing? They're by the washing powder and stain removers inthe supermarket, you soak clothes that have been washed with darks by mistake and it gets the spare dye out - they're great! I suspect it's less about the jumper...

oh yeah i think people on here have mentioned making it and then adding mullerlights afterwards (i don't think mullerlights need to cook with the rice, they'd probably go a bit funny)... meant to be gorgeous! you might even get away with not using any sugar? cimmamon or nutmeg or allspice is...

    Fab Weigh in tonight !!

That's an amazing loss! Share your secret! i think sometimes, weight loss takes a while to 'catch up' with you - if you've been really good on the plan for weeks and only STS or had a half pound off, it can accumulate into a big loss after a few weeks - I bet it was your hard work over the...

    refreezing?

Yeah I don't think freezing veggies that have already been fully cooked would give you any nutritional value - and they go so soggy and tasteless. Ok for stews and curries as jaylou says, but not great on their own. best thing to do with extra veggies is to 'blanch' them in hot water (just...

    any vegetarians do extra easy?

My c was saying that when SW launched in the US this year with EE, there were a lot of veggies doing it, and they had really big losses! I know it's nice to 'get away' with doing the green days because 'we can eat more', but I think if you can do the EE as a veggie, your losses will be much...

    From size 24......

Well done! Amazing! Isn't it funny how losing stones and pounds don't make as much of an impact as going down dress sizes!? My only problem is that I'm spending too much money on clothes now, because I'm delighted to be a couple of sizes down.... Anyone know of a 'Spending World' class I can...

    Fast Forward Week!

Ah thanks gemma, great advice... I'm definitely not going to get too hung up about losing the weight if it just won't budge now. I'll follow SW to the letter until I go away to keep me on track and see what happens. I'll definitely be fitting in another week of FF though as I've quite enjoyed...

    Fast Forward Week!

Well, I'm 6 days in and I can honestly say it's not been too bad. I don't actually think I'm going to have a big loss as there seems to be a lot of bread on this plan! I'm eating loads as well... much bigger meals than I usually eat. The biggest change is the lack of snacking. At my desk I was...

    Pesto

Tip for pesto lovers - taken from someone who can happily eat half a jar in one go on her pasta.... Mix a big spoon of quark into the pesto before you put it on the pasta - you can cut down the pesto you use by at least half, and still get the gorgeous pesto flavour with a lot less syns! The...

Packed Lunch for hungry man lol

Packed Lunch for hungry man lol

I'll probably cause a row with this, but disguising 'good' ie SW foods as 'bad' foods such as sausage rolls, cheese (even if it's reduced fat), and 'low fat' crisps isn't going to promote healthy eating and food choices for a young person's future. I really do applaud families who make the...

    SOTW rules?

I would not be happy with the C picking and choosing the moaners for SOTW! Penalising the strong people who just get on with it! Wow, that makes me angry.... I think the computer picks ours now it's all digital, just goes for the biggest weight loss. It's not ideal as I don't have much to lose...

The Shape Zero yoghurts (0% - really thick ones!) are on 75p for 4 at tesco at the moment - gorgeous, and sooo much cheaper than mullerlites!

Red Day What can I have with syn-free sausages?

The Tesco Cumberland Light Choices chilled sausages are only 1 syn each and they taste EXACTLY like 'fat' sausages! :o)

    Thursday Weighers

I'm halfway through a fast forward week, it's killing me not having any free food snacks! i want a 2lb loss this week or else!

    Starbucks Skinny Latte

Definitely free - i assume the 6.5 syns are only if you're not using your Hex a. These make me feel like i'm being really naughty but is totally within the plan... Now the only problem is the £40 a month it costs for a daily morning skinny latte!

    100% SWers - 1 day at a time :)

I am on day 1 of the Fast Forward plan and HAVE to do it 100% for the whole week, including the 3 pints of water a day! Doing well so far, 16 hours in! :D

    Fast Forward Week!

Oh well, there's loads of bread and protein and a few syns on FF so it might kick start things for me. I have started running and joined a gym too so even if I don't lose any more weight, I will feel better for toning up! Thanks for the tips Jaylou, you're a serious SW pro! :-)

i emailed sw asking about an iphone app lol....

Sally, I bought a refurbished/2nd hand ipod touch (2nd gen, 8gb) from ebay for £85 - I had a 32gb 3rd gen but put it in the washing machine by accident! Sob! The ebay one is fantastic, you can get all the apps and watch movies etc on it, you just have to be selective what music you put on it...

    Fast Forward Week!

I don't really have half a stone to lose, I think this is part of the problem... I am really happy with my weight at target now, but just wanted to really get slim for my one and only week in ibiza, before probably putting it back on again to get back up to my current target when I get back! I...

    Fast Forward Week!

Damn that's annoying! Although makes sense I suppose. And if I lose 2 or 3 pounds this week, i won't mind putting one back on the week after. Been stuck on a no-loss or half a pound for weeks now!
  114. earlybird1201

    Fast Forward Week!

Yeah I think I might struggle with it a bit myself, but am splitting some of the meals, like the sandwiches, into two halfs and having an hour or so inbetween so it spreads it out a bit! You also HAVE to drink 3 pints of water per day (1 each in morning, afternoon and evening) for the plan to...

    Fast Forward Week!

Oh right, ok! Thanks for letting me know. I just saw that another member had posted every day what she was eating on FF so thought I'd do the same... Never mind!

    Fast Forward Week!

Hi all, It's my first time posting on here, although I read minimins every day! Couldn't find much about the Fast Forward plan so thought I would start a new thread as I'm giving it a go this week! I am at target but want to lose another 7lb before my big holiday to Ibiza on 29th July... I've...
