    Cerazette

Hey surfhunny, I was put in cerazette 3 years ago and it played havoc with my moods. I only stayed on it for a couple of months as it made me so depressed. There were genuinely times in this short period where i felt so low that I considered ending things... And for no good reason. I was...

Evening! Quick question: I have been invited to a wedding on 3rd Nov, a very good friend. Just wondering whether I should stay on plan for this or not? I'm sorely tempted as it would be great to have a drink, am guessing it would be advisable perhaps to get out of ketosis on the Friday in...

    Another fat Newbie!

Nice one jopolson, it's an awesomely effective diet and you're dead right - support is everything. I've had a pal doing it with me, but she only had about a stone to lose and did re-feed last week. This forum is fab for keeping you on track and staying 100%. All the best! :D

    3rd WI

24 pounds in 3 weeks??? I'd be over the moon with that! Average it out and you've lost 8 pounds a week, that's a pound a day plus 3 extra! Awesome! You couldn't have done that at weight watchers now! I'm gettin weighed tomorrow and am expectin a low loss as although I've been 100%, it's been...

    New to the forum

Nice one wibble, glad you're back on the wagon! Look forward to hearing of your progress - you're right, this is a great plan! :D

want to restart LT, im so depressed

Awww, poor you :(, you can well do without negative people. How dare they? I bet they're either just jealous that you're doing something pro-active, or are out to sabotage you. I've found the only negative reponse I've had was from a fairweather "friend" who has always been naturally very skinny...

    Non-Scale-Victories

Evening one and all! :hug99: Don't you just love NSVs? I've had to throw a load of clothes away as they're simply too big! :D and tried on a pair of cropped trousers I bought YEARS ago that I wanted to slim into (guess what? It never happened!) and they fit perfectly! Unfortunately because...

want to restart LT, im so depressed

Hey NatalieAnn, dead pleased you got sorted at the chemists, and I bet you're excited about starting tomorrow knowing that's it's a massive jump along on the road to slimness that we're all trekking together! The time does fly on this diet, I'm halfway through my third week, didn't even think...

    7th weigh in!!! woohoo!!!

Awesome Bex! Just goes to show that the losses do even themselves out over the month, and fab progress overall. Well done girl, you're an inspiration! :)

    i cheated on the lipotrim

Hey hun, the most important thing is not to beat yourself up about it, and jump straight back into the programme. The best thing I've found to combat hunger pangs is drinking loads of water and peppermint tea, it really does fill you up. However, the hunger pangs I have experienced have all (on...

Newbie - start tomorrow, so excited!!!

"Flapjacks"... sure there's a serious breach of contract there - flapjacks they aint! However, they're great when you need somethin to chew, and they're dead handy to have at work instead of messing around with lumpy shakes cos your blender is at home! I wasn't a massive fan of the coconut one...

Newbie - start tomorrow, so excited!!!

Totally agree with Dave about the soup, it is utterly rancid! The first time I tried it I quite liked it, the second time it wasn't so good, and I've gone off it so much that I never had the 3rd sachet! Give it a whirl, plenty people swear by it. But it gives me the boke! :p

Newbie - start tomorrow, so excited!!!

Hiya Tink, it truly is a miracle diet! I just feel like the weight is melting off me, and it's only day 13! The best advice I'd give about the shakes, is to make them in a blender, or if you're lazy about washing up like me use one of those electric hand blenders (that people on the telly use to...

    First Weigh in!

Marvellous result girlie, woot woot indeed! Keep up the good work, that is a top notch loss :D:D:D

A nice cup of tea! What do you have?

I got it at Tesco's Tootiefrootie, my local Tesco seems to have the very best selection of herbal type teas outside of a health shop!
  104. fabulous_clara

A nice cup of tea! What do you have?

Oooh, I didn't know that about the boiling water Isis, I knew you shouldn't put it on coffee, but thought tea was OK. Will bear that in mind when making my next cuppa! I got some lush tea yesterday - 3 Mint Tea made by Pukka. It's dead refreshing, peppermint spearmint and fieldmint. It's...

A nice cup of tea! What do you have?

Ooh, dunno! I tend to put a coffee into my vanilla shake for breakfast, that does the trick for me!

A nice cup of tea! What do you have?

Hello peeps! :flowers: I've just been to Tesco's and got some Lapsang Suchong tea, never had it before, and it's rather nice! It tastes kind of smokey, like that smokeyness of BBQ sauce but quite mild too. Really enjoyed it! Do any of you have any good recommendations for LT friendly teas...

    Surprising reserve of will power!

Well i truly surprised myself last night! :p I went to watch the England match at my friends house, and had told them I was on a diet so not to cater for me with food/booze. Dead pleased I was honest with them all, as they were all dead supportive. However... there was a v nice buffet laid on...

    Itchy and scratchy

Cheers Lisa, good advice. I'm keeping a close eye on things, but touch wood I haven't had any itching for a few days now. If it comes back it may be worth a trip to the doctors. Cheers babe x :)

    First WI!!!!!!!

Ruddy Nora! Eeeh that's brilliant, well done you! You're a lean mean fat-burning machine! 17 pounds... think how long it would take to lose that on any other diet... hurrah for lipotrim! :D:D:D
  111. fabulous_clara

    Yippy kye yay!

First weigh in: done... I lost 8 pounds!!! I'm so chuffed! As much as I love weight watchers, it would have taken me over a month to lose that much following their plan. Get in! :D:D:D
  112. fabulous_clara

    Itchy and scratchy

I think you may have been right Determined Girl, I always put moisturising oil over the top half of my body in the shower (for some reason never bother with legs!), so today I put it over my whole body and I've been grand! Actually forgot about the itchiness until coming on the forum and I...

Hmmm, interesting theory Determined Girl, makes sense like. Will see how things go over the next week!

    Itchy and scratchy

LOL Catt! I've prepared a little LT friendly breath freshener which I carry with me in case I feel the need: I bought a little travel size spray bottle from Boots (99p), put in some Listerine and a few drops of peppermint essential oil (as I can't stand the taste of Listerine!). A couple of...

    Itchy and scratchy

Cheers Bex, so pleased it aint just me! I suppose everyone has different side effects... I've been waiting for the bad breath to kick in, but so far it hasn't. One of my mates did LT recently, and she didn't get the breath either. I'm hoping I've escaped that but maybe the price to pay is...

    Hey I'm New :)

I watched the DVD at home, you can see it through the lipotrim website. It's about 38 mins long, but actually worth watching as t explains loads about how it works. Then I just popped to the chemists, filled in a form, weighed in, and Bob's your uncle!
  117. fabulous_clara

First weigh in tomorrow, feels strange!

And I'll tell you why it feels strange... because I can't wait! Yes, I'm really genuinely looking forward to getting on the scales! Don't think I've ever said that in all my days! :D I used to dread weigh in day at Weight Watchers, because no matter how good I thought I'd been there was still...

    Day 2 for me...?(food contained)

It's not easy is it? :sigh: But they reckon the first few days are the hardest... and I would have to agree so far - I'm 6 days in and it starts to feel very empowering, you're doing such a decisive and pro-active thing by starting this diet! Most people don't get past the thinking about it...
  119. fabulous_clara

    Itchy and scratchy

Nearing the end of my first week, and all is well with the diet itself... However... I've noticed I am incredibly itchy, especially on my legs (particularly the calves). I have not changed washing powder or soap or any other external factors, and am just going through a process of elimination of...

    Flapjacks!

Cheers all! I've got my first weigh in tomorrow... and am going to try a flapjack in the chemists for my breakfast to see if I like them, if I do then I'll get some in as I like the idea of taking them for my pack lunch rather than a shake. If they're grotesque then at least I know and can...

    Feel so alone

My Dad did homemade pizzas for him and my mum's tea tonight, the smell has been driving me wild! I went down to make a cup of peppermint tea earlier, and of course there were leftovers... Pre-lipotrim I would have just helped myself - not because I was hungry or anything, but simply cos it was...

    Flapjacks!

Howdy everyone! Hope you're all well, LOVING this forum so much! And I'm still going strong at the end of day 4 :D I was just wondering if anyone can tell me about the flapjacks? ie are they nice/filling/edible?! And do I understand it correctly that while you're on LT 100% you are allowed...

    Upset :(

Aw Clare, sending you a big hug :hug99:and some good karma :rainbow: Parents so often think they're acting in our best interests with a dose of "tough love", and the annoying thing is that with my mum, it genuinely is borne out of love! I've had to talk to my mum in the past about her negative...

    Normal???

Morning everyone, day 3 begins! Still coping fine with the no food thing... :) just had my first shake of the day. However... I'm feeling a little nauseous, quite shaky and very very dizzy. Is this normal? Good job I'm not working today!

    It's all in the mind!

Cheers! It's very illuminating isn't it! Mindless eating is such a danger trap, one I didn't even realise. I nearly popped a bit of my friend's son's popcorn into my mouth yesterday, I don't even like sweet popcorn! It was just cos it was there! Ah well, knowledge is power as they say! :)
  126. fabulous_clara

    It's all in the mind!

Now then! :) Just thought I'd put down some of my feelings from today and see if it strikes a chord with anyone... After watching the DVD before starting the LT diet, it made me quite interested in the psychology behind the TFR. I'd only ever considered the physical side of it (ketosis...

    WOW..

Hiya Kelly! I just joined the forum yesterday and agree it's magic! I too am taking it week by week, I've told myself that I'll do LT for 2 weeks for definite. I'd like to stretch it to 3 weeks and probably will. Beyond that i'm thinking that I'll see how I'm doing as to whether I continue...

The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step

Hello everyone! Well today is my first day on Lipotrim, and I live to tell the tale! :D I always swore I'd never do a TFR diet, didn't think I'd have the willpower, however 5 months of weightwatchers has only yielded a 20 pound loss. Better off than on I know, but motivation is weak at the...
