Any vegetarians out there who can answer my Q...

Just be careful as Iron tablets can make you constipated!!

Any vegetarians out there who can answer my Q...

You are probably not getting enough protein if you were eating meat regularly and have now cut it out completely. I have been vegetarian for 15 years and went through a spell of being tired and exhausted all the time. When I looked at my diet it was lacking in protein as I was eating lots of...

    Whats for tea tonight?

I had fish pie last week from a receipe someone posted on here in the recipes bit and it was absolutely lovely. My husband who didn't know it was a SW receipe had seconds. I am having spinach and mushroom lasagne with SW chips tonight

    Thursday Weighers

Hi Libra Congratulations on your great loss. I just wondered as we are about the same height and weight which plan/plans you follow. I have done slimming world before but only lose around 1lb a week at best. I stick to mainly green as I don't eat meat. Thanks

    weigh in tonight

Please don't be disheartened 2.5lbs is really good and an excellent start. I know you see big loses for some people but you are much better off losing steadily and before you know it you will have lost a stone!

Gutted! Not sure what to do now...

It is really gutting isn't it when you have stuck to the plan all week and don't lose anything? Have you increased your exercise at all? I have very small losses on the plan usually only half or 1lb a week if I am lucky but if I go for a walk or do some exercise I can push it up a bit. Keep...

    Back but still demotivated

Well done you in recognising that you need to stop that downward spiral before it gets out of hand. You see so many stories of people who have worked so hard to lose weight only to regain it all again and have to start at the beginning. If you are like me I am either in the zone or not in the...

Does Slimming World make you antisocial?

I know what you mean as every Friday in our office they have either chinese or fish and chips. It is difficult to sit with them as the smell of the fish and chips makes my mouth water. I normally go for a walk or take a late lunch on Fridays so that it doesn't look like I am being anti social...

    If I wasn't following the plan 100%....

I'd be scoffing most of the tin of celebrations I bought in Morrisons this afternoon instead of hiding it in the loft!

    Possibly the greatest comment ever...

I went to the doctors last week for a routine blood test and as soon as I sat down the nurse said 'have you been to see me before? to which I replied 'yes' and she said 'did I offer you weight management classes?' I was so taken aback I couldn't think of anything to say! I wouldn't care...

    mostly Green days????? advice please

Hi I always follow green days as I am vegetarian and have either rice, potatoes or pasta every day. The only thing I would say is that I do lose weight slowly (1lb a week) but because I am always full I don't mind the slow weight loss too much.

    help needed

I lost my mojo for a week and despite telling myself to get a grip couldn't get back on track. Then I got some photo's printed of my daughters prom in which I had been accidently snapped (I avoid photos if I can) and suddenly it's back! Think about all of the reasons why you want to lose weight...

    Any Veggies Out There?

Good luck with your weigh in today Zoe! I am a veggie and love SW green days so much as they are pretty much what I used to eat before anyway, pasta, potatoes and rice. I always have 2 HEB's and 1 HEA (usually skimmed milk) and it depends on what I am having for my main meal whether I take the...

Slow losers, do you find it hard to keep movitated?

At least I am consistent and get no surprises when I get on the scales. I have changed my height in my profile (lol) had added an extra 100 inches thinking I was doing centimetres!

Slow losers, do you find it hard to keep movitated?

Hi I have been doing SW for 8 weeks and have only lost a 1lb a week. When I see other people on here losing 5 and 6lb I think wow how good must it feel to lose that much in one week. I try and think long term and how each pound adds up and am totally happy on SW as I love my food and can lead...
