    You're averaging 4-5lb a week which is fantastic. Did you drink enough water on the week you lost 1lb? I usually find I have a better loss after a bad week.

    Like franbella I use the FlabeLos twice a day for 10 minutes at a time. I don't think it has stalled my losses at all. The FlabeLos machine I use is actually at my CDC's house. I think the reason why my tummy overhang isn't too bad at all is because of using it.

    Is the patch hormonal? (Sorry, I'm not too familiar with the patch). The reason I ask is because I recently went to have the coil fitted. I was opting for the copper coil as it is non hormonal so I knew it wouldn't cause any weight gain. I wasn't keen on the fact it can make your periods heavier...

    I have no experience of SS+ but I did step up to Step 2 for a week a few weeks ago and I feel it gave my losses a bit of a boost.

    Starting CWP is the best decision I have made in a long time. If you're an avid exerciser then Sole Source might not be for you as we are advised not to over do it exercise wise as you'll end up burning more calories than you're taking in and therefore your body will go into starvation mode...

    I'm on week 14 and started off with about 10 stones to lose. I am 3st 13lb lighter now and haven't experienced any hair loss due to the diet. Yes, I do have some loose skin but the way I look at it is it is easier to hide the loose skin than it is to hide the fat.

    I often find that I am more likely to crave food in the evening once the kids are in bed and the hubby is at work. I just have an early night when this happens as when I am asleep I won't be thinking about food... apart from the one time I had a dream about carbs lol

    I always keep spare products because that way if I am really flagging I will have an extra product to narrow down the chances of me pigging out.

    You may find you'll soon have a generous loss where it has all of a sudden caught up with you.

    Just try and remember why you're doing this and it should help you see it through. I also often find if I weigh myself midweek there will be no change but the loss somehow catches up for weigh in :-)

    My periods are now every 21-22 days instead of the 31 day cycle I had pre CWP.

    When did people start to notice?

    I think at around the 3 stones mark a lot of people were complimenting me and noticing I had lost weight. That is when, for me, there was a clear noticable change in weight. I suppose it probably depends on how well people hold their weight etc.

    Weigh ins are going fine although seem to be slowing down a bit. So I am up to Step 2 for the week. Won't be weighing in as usual on Monday as we are spending the week in London so it will be two weeks without weigh in by the time I see my CDC next, so hope to see a nice loss.

    I think it is different for everybody. What works for one won't work for another. They say average on CWP is a stone a month.

    Hmm I had my worst loss in Week 10 at 2lb. Could just be a coincidence though. CDC told me to up my water intake.

    I always find I lose more when I drink 3 litres a day. I sometimes struggle and on these weeks my losses have been lower. It could just be coincidence though. I think drinking so much water is the hardest part of this diet for me.

    I wouldn't take any notice of her scales. Wait until you see your CDC again for weigh in to avoid disappointment. I found Boots scales made me half a stone heavier than my CDC's :-/

    Been told not to do exercise on SS because burning more calories than the very low amount you're having can send your body into starvation mode rather than fat burning but I haven't tried and tested this theory. I've just been sticking to going on the FlabeLos machine and some light toning...

    What about Cambridge Weight Plan? Almost half the price of Lighter Life but you see a CDC once a week to weigh in, buy your products and advise. That could be a compromise between the two?

    If you're worried you're going to be tempted by going up to Step 2 like I was, I have found that making my meal really bland and dry helpful. That way I wasn't eating a load of gorgeousness and tempted to have more.

    I think it also depends on how sensitive you are to carbs... I was having one bar a day a couple of weeks ago and by the evening I was starting to get hunger pangs. I stopped buying the bars and don't get the pangs anymore.

    Don't weigh yourself on different scales. It is soul destroying. I realised from very early on that Boots scales make me half a stone heavier than my CDC scales.     What motivates you to keep going?

    To be honest, it's my kids that keep me going. At 20 stones I struggled to keep up with my 3 year old and now I have a 5 month old too. I want to be able to chase them in the park and play with them too. Oh and remembering the time I didn't fit onto a ride at Thorpe Park.. That really did upset me.

    Exercise on SS

    I do some mild exercise on the Wii Fit and then have a go on those FlabeLos machines too. If I started to feel any side effects from it I would stop immediately. I don't do anything too strenuous though to be fair.
