    Eating Enough Protein?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone else here shared my problem. I think I rarely eat enough protein. A quick hunt on the interwebz says the average woman needs 45g of protein per day. I very rarely eat red meat - I think being constantly told by the media how we eat too much of it has weaned...

    how much do you excercise?

Hello! You exercise more than I do, but I think only you can decide if you're exercising too much. Do you feel good for doing it? Does it make you feel better? Honestly, I wouldn't worry about the weight if you're watching your calories also - it's probably muscle, which will help you with...

Just eaten crap for days now :(

Don't be so hard on yourself, pea! I've been through that living scenario myself and it is super stressfull. Plus - so you fell off the wagon on Thursday, and at the end of Friday. So what? It's not like you went on a massive weekend binge or anything. 1 1/2 days of overdoing it won't...

Hi Munky, Welcome! If it's any consolation, I found the first two weeks the hardest for cc. It takes your body a while to adjust, and for you to find what suits you. I started out having lots of small meals throughout the day, but now I've found I'm much better having three solid meals at...

:O I didn't think of the salt. I've been eating my way through a tasteless mountain of tuna pasta for two weeks, and have taken to pouring huge mounds of salt on top of it to make it taste better! Perhaps that's it. Don't get TOTM as I'm on mirena. Loves it! Thanks for the support everyone :)

    1st - 31st July Challenge

7lbs. That would nicely put me in the BMI I'm aiming for. Going to be a challenge for me, as I'll have to lose 2lbs a week, three out of four weeks. But here goes nothing! I weigh in every Wednesday (sometimes Thursdays), so I'll be updating after most of you!

THIS! Also, in my opinion, daily weighing in is understandable when you're starting maintenance. But long term (e.g. six months on)? I think that's unrealistic and will make you miserable having to do that. I think once you get used to your body's rhythm you won't feel the need to do so as...

    Does calorie counting work??

Calorie counting is old school! Less calories in than calories out = weight loss! Simple! I think the trickiest part is deciding upon a practical, healthy calorie intake per day, and sticking to it. It's very easy to set it too low and then go on a crazy food munch two weeks down the line.
