Fat-Boy-Slimmin - through the hard times and the good

I know eh, how cold?! so glad i started this diet in the summer; at least i'm used to it now. Have a great few weeks everyone, i'm off on holiday! I'm visiting family in Canada so the plan is to do CD for breakfast and lunch and stick to a 'white and green' meal if i have to go out for dinner...

    Funny how time flies...

i concur. i have only one regret with respect to the cambridge diet: i wished i'd did this 3 years ago! I love fight club too; that quote is also from a song by dust brothers.

    Reverence for Irrelevance

Thought of the day: I wish someone had described 'maternity leave' as spending a minimum of 12 hours a day with someone that cannot speak, not to mention said person is a dribbling incontinent with appalling table manners. It would have prepared me A LOT MORE. To provide the balanced...

kicking it up a notch: moving from 4 meals to 3?

heya, I'm currently on 4 meals a day. I go on hols next week and would love to accelerate my loss if possible. Do you think it would work if I went down to 3 meals a day from 4? I'm 5'8 but a small frame, and tried it yesterday and was fine. Just wanted your opinions to see if it would cause...

    question about cc?

you poor thing, i'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you're going through. I have only been on SS for a month but i am still ovulating. I think you'd only stop if you became super duper skinny (ovulation & mensturation requires a certain body fat percentage) and because you're in...

4 shakes instead of 3. Will this affect ketosis ?

nope it won't knock you out of ketosis, as they are protein based. I do 4 shakes a day as i'm *just* 5'8. My CDC recommended this, she had 4 a day and she's short and still lost loads of weight quickly. You're more likely to stick to the diet if you're not hungry right?
  29. puddingtoast

Slimming Em looking for her slim self.....

hey, i'm 5'8 and i'm having 4 packs. it makes me feel full the whole day, and the weight is still coming off very quickly (though it was slow to start). Maybe move up to 4 if it means you'll stick the the SS?

I'm paying £2 a go, and i'm having 4 meals a day. My consultant hasn't really added any value, though i'm hoping she'll come in once i move into maintenance, with recipes ideas etc. Is that a reasonable expecation? Or should i be asking for more support now?

I've never considered trying hypnotherapy(i generally consider that sort of stuff hooey) but my CDC practises it as a side business. I had a stressful week and it was really good to be on the CD so i had to find another outlet for the stress, and i thought maybe hypnotherapy would be another...
