    Week 8 Weigh in

A fairly measley 2 lbs this week, but in my waistlines defence, I have been weighing in first thing in the morning and this week have had to move over to evenings so it could have been worst I suppose. Now 12st 4lbs.

    Week 7 weigh in

A very fair point. I'm totally undecided on where I want to end up. My main isse at the moment is with my still hideous tummy. Everywhere ele looks (dare I say it?) Pretty hot now but I still have a couple of extra tyres hanging about m middle which are depressing me. Strop.

Thanks all, it's really lovely to get the help and encouragement wee all need here... I think I'm going to join Bren and move over the CD next week. Give me a kicking please.

Until the past few days I've not really found this diet hard. I've lost 32lbs in 6 weeks which I'm thrilled about, then on Sat my period hit and all I can think about is food. All food. Any food. I want it. I NEED it. On top of the TOTM thing, I'm also exhausted, I started a new job last week...

Thanks all. I'm very happy about the lb losses, but am a bit depressed about the slow inch loss. I thought I'd dropped...

    Coconut VS Peanut?

True, but a measley 40Cals a day is not going to make the slightest bit of difference on a diet as low cal as this one. Especially if (like me) you do a whole load of excerisize every day. I'm going to have one for lunch every week day as it's so much easier than trying to have a tepid lumpy...

    An excellent evening!

The Next jeans and clothes sizes fiasco!

Pfft. You're mean :p Thanks for this size10, I've had a very long and exhausting 3 days and my LSH's dinner is smelling particularly tempting tonight but I've now been and looked at pretty Coast dresses too and my resolve is strong once again!
  41. C

    Coconut VS Peanut?

And I tried a coconut one too. Same verdic, they make a nice change and taste quite nice - but they are very dry so make sure you wash them down with plenty of water. Bren the coconut ones have exactly the same texture as the peanut ones, just a mildly coconutty taste :)

Exercising, Yes Or No- Have your say!

    Bren's Diary

TBH, I don't drink because I'm thirsty, I drink becasue it's become habit and also I'm pretty aware of how much I have drunk in relation to how much I NEED. I think you need to obsess over it for a few days (and we both know you're capable of that :P ) until it becomes a habit again.

    Lipotrim and exercising

I'm on my feet pretty much all day with a very active lifestyle so don't do as much 'formal excersize' as perhaps I should. Bren's Diary

Yes. Keep it up Missus. I find making sure I have enough water bottled up and in the fridge, cold and ready for me makes all the difference. Good attitude above - keep it up. Only 10 measly little lbs to go. How're you doing today?? Superglue the water bottle to your hand and stay out of the kitchen. I know you can do it.
  78. C

    Bren's Diary

That's brilliant Bren, I too did the same thing yesterday and was pleasantly suprised. Have to admit I'm still a long way off fitting into a size 14 (for those who don't know me personally, I am a funny shape - all tummy and hardly any fat elsewhere!), but the size 16's weren't tight!
  79. C

    Feeling the cold?

Am I the only one? I've always been a 'hot person' but lately I've been freezing! More so than friends who are ususaly wingeing about being cold. My LSH has a theory that it's my body getting used to being less insulated than normal (I think that's his polite way of saying I've lost weight)...
  80. C

    Waterworks...

Forget the kick, here's a bloody great boot up your backside. Don't give in now, stick with it ofr another 3 weeks. You CAN do it and just think how much more succesful you loss will be. Also, and almost more importantly, I need you on here to keep me amused with the little witty comments...

    Tough night

Yes it was size8, we both had a very succesfull day too, thank you :D I was ravenous last night too Bren and I think it was partly due to having uch a busy day and partly due to being out of my usual routine for shakes time wise. Lipotrim part 2

Hiya :) Good luck, you'll do brilliantly with such a big incentive ahead of you.
  110. C

Want to know how to get around MiniMins?

I've edited my signature in my User CP and it show's there but not on my posts - any idea what I've done wrong? Edit to add - Doh, it seems to be working now, ignore me!
  111. C

    Week 1 Weigh In...

WOW!! Well done Woody. I'm another who can't wait to hear how you get on with NY
  112. C

    First week gripes

It really, honestly does get better. Just try to stick at it. I'm about a week further down the road than you and it's only the past few days I've felt like jumping out the window when cooking or being around my LSH eating. As for the other things, have you tried using a shaker at work rather...
  113. C

    stomach upset?

My usually dodgy tummy has been 100% better since being on LT so I'm afraid I can't help. It could be connected with a cold or bug of some sort though?
  114. C

    A small celebration

Thanks so much everyone, just got back from my weigh in (a day early this week too) and have lost another 5lbs, which is motivation enough to keep me 100% I hope!
  115. C

    Second weigh in

BUT, it's only day 11 AND also is TOTM. Another 5lbs!!!! Making 11lbs in 11 days :D
  116. C

    A small celebration

I'm not sure. I know they're having a posh type of BBQ with a really wide choice of meats/fish and veggies. Other than that I don't know! I'm hoping that I might be able to push food over to my LSH, but as he' best man, we may be seperated and it may not be possible. I am actually quite worried...
  117. C

    A small celebration

I'm going to take my shakes and try to stay 100%. Not sure I'll manage though...
  118. C

Im off ... but not off TFR

Ditto the others, good luck Woody. LT isn't for everyone, I have a friend who didn't get on with it either.
  119. C

    A small celebration

Amazingly nice!! Floor length, strapless, black satin ballgown. Fitted bodice with full skirt. Makes me feel dead sexy (and not TOO fat either!). Definately not your average bridesmaid dress.
  120. C

    Sneak peek/sly spy..

I try not to but can't honestly say I manage all that often!! Follw the same routine as you, naked and after first pee. Weighing in again tomorrow, a day early as LincsBren and I go to the pharmacy together (normally on a Sat morning) and she's heading off galivanting for a week so we need to...
  121. C

    A small celebration

Thanks everyone, I'm thrilled! I have to admit I was a bit frightened about what the bride might do to me if I hadn't managed to get in the dress! I had a very lovely, tame seamstress lined up to try to make me a discreet panel and insert it so (hopefully) peple wouldn't notice. Now, just...

    Bren's Diary

Braver than me chick! And, I actually do think you can see quite a difference in the green dress pictures.
  123. C

Day 1, please tell me it gets easier!

Like the others have said, the shakes do get easier to drink. My first day I struggled with them, now I know how I like them made up and I'm used to the taste I quite look forward to them. Remember, they're not intended to be especially nice!
  124. C

    BLURH!

I've just noticed, you're getting married on my birthday watsonnicole!
  125. C

    BLURH!

No problem, below are some ideas somone else came up with too. I've not tried them yet but when I get desperate I will be doing so! Chocolate/Vanilla/strawberry Flavours Muffin 1.Put a little BOILING WATER into a ramekin dish, or whatever you have - thick mug or similar (about 2 desert...
  126. C

    Why am I struggling???

I'm sure we'll still let you play...! :D
  127. C

    Bren's Diary

Show off :p (although, TBH, I'm not that far behind you!) She has. Lucky cow - or some would say careless cow!
  128. C

    Siobhan's 20 day BOOT CAMP! :whacky068:

That's more than brilliant, it's... er... Fabulous. Have an amazing time looking smokin' in Holland with your super-man-of-dreams and don't do anything we wouldn't...
  129. C

    Why am I struggling???

    ROFLMAO, That's brilliant S.
  130. C

    Yellow tongue?

Good point Siobhi, manky yellow bits elsewhere may result in difficult questions from the LSH!
  131. C

    A small celebration

Actually, it's more like a HUGE celebration :talk017: Some of you may remember I have have a big family wedding on Aug 16th, I am a bridesmaid and I was REALLY struggling to get into my dress (that I had to order 2 years ago!). On Sat I tried it on and couldn't quite get it done up (we were...
  132. C

    Yellow tongue?

Pfft. Yesterday I was only mildly left out, today it is full blown "manky tongue envy", I just want a symptom to prove I'm ketosis-ing. S'not fair :throwsatantrum: Well, you already knew I was completely barking... And, see above. I DO want manky yellow bits!
  133. C

    BLURH!

They do get more palatable honest! I struggled with them when I first started but now I quite look forward to my shakes! Try experimenting with how you make them up too, I've found my favourite ways now and am in a routine. Personally, I have a glass of water when I first get up, then once...
  134. C

    Why am I struggling???

Personally, I'd stick to Lipotrim TFR 100% and I'm confident you'll lose the remainder of what you want before October. Then again, I don't really know anything about the other systems you mention and can only go by the fantastic results I've seen in both my own and others loss on LT. Good luck!!
  135. C

    2 weeks down

Wow that's amazing S! I too shall be using you as my inspiration at a big family wedding all this weekend and will try so hard to remain 100%.
  136. C

Before and present piccy (half way there)

Why can't I see your piccies...?
  137. C

    Yellow tongue?

My tongue is a normal colour. I feel a bit left out now :(
  138. C

    Yellow tongue?

Unfortunately I don't have a yellow tongue, but I read somewhere here that it is associated with ketosis - hence the unfortunately bit. I shouldn't worry about it, just enjoy the fact that your body is kicking the fat into touch effectively!
  139. C

Anyone else sick of drinking water?

Warm water is great (but I drank that before LT anyway. As for green or red bush teas. You're crazy, satan's urine if you ask me!
  140. C

    Lumpy Chicken Soup!

I start my blender slow and then when a little mixed turn it up high to properly blitz it - no lumps here!
  141. C

    When Needs MUST!

I'm not sure about buying LT anywhere other than the pharmacist - personally I find needing to go every week and be accountable really helps me. I also like the fact that if I have any concerns I can talk them through with the parmacist and get profesional advice. My nearest chemist that stocks...
  142. C

    Distractions?

Prompted by comments on other threads, what are your coping mechanisms or way of distracting yourself from eating? Mine include walking the dogs, doing a bit of maintenance around the property and cleaning! My kitchen doesn't know what's hit it, all the cupboards have been cleaned, the fridge...
  143. C

    Ketosis

Thanks Cheryl, that's really reasured me! As I've always drunk a lot of water and am now drinking even more, would the fact that I'm very well hydrated (and therefore weeing even more) hide the symptoms perhaps? If I'm flushing through, it may hide the breath etc??
  144. C

Honk If You Were 100% Today!

    HONKKKKKKKK
  145. C

    Ketosis

So, how do I know for sure if i'm in this magical, mythical state yet? I don't have any ketostix, and I don't think my breath is bad but I have been 100% for 6 days now (in fact, today is day 7). Anyone have any ideas?
  146. C

    Bren's Diary

Congratulations Bren, you're doing SO well. I'm impressed you managed to resist temptation and stayed strong, just remember the more we resist, the quicker we'll acheive our individual end goals!
  147. C

    Back pain.

I alawys have a bit of back pain and have done for years. I must admit it's not been anyworse since being on LT. I tend to find a bit of VERY GENTLE excersise helps when mine is bad. Hope you're still feeling better?
  148. C

Newbie on Day 1 ... advice about exercise

Echo MiniB 100% Also, you may well find you get used to the flavours! I really had to force them down, but now, at the end of week one I'm finding I quite like a couple of the flavours! I do wonder if our tastebuds ubdergo a bit of a re-education too!
  149. C

    Clepottage's weigh in

    Week 1 (although it's actually only 4 complete days) - 5lbs!:party0011:
  150. C

    Week 1 weigh in

Congratulations! Well done, "totally inspiring" (and thanks for taking me for my weigh in this morning too!)
  151. C

    Hiya, yet another newbie here

Yes! And thanks for the scales, I can't quite believe a 5lb loss already - especially as I've weighed in after only 4 full days!!!
  152. C

    Cramps and muscle ache

I'm now on day 4 and (luckily) finding the programme eaier than expected - so long as my trusty water bottle is never too far away! I have a very active lifestyle, there's nothing I can do to slow down for a while so I will just have to get on with it. Last night I started geting cramp in my...
  153. C

    Any lump lickers here?

I lick lumps and I'm proud! Yes, love it when I find a lump in my shake or soup - it's lovely having a bit of texture once in a while :)
  154. C

    Sleep

Afraid I don't know about the mint leaves (although I would expect not), but I'm sure someone on here will be able to answer for you. I'm never all that great at sleeping, but I think it's a bit worse than normal since I've been on Lipotrim.
  155. C

    Hi Everyone Newbie Alert

Me too (although I think it's more onioney than chickeney), also love the fact there's another flavour for me Yep - Me!! :D
  156. C

    Weight vs Inches

Thanks all, that's very reasuring indeed. I was having a minor panic about being the only bridesmaid with safety pins holding her dress together!
  157. C

    REALLY REALLY STRUGGLING

I'm only on my 4th day so far but have laready noticed the shakes tasting better than they did on day one. I think you really do get used to them! Do try the chicken soup too, it's ptobably my favourite (but only with a little black pepper added). Keep at it - you can do this!
  158. C

    Weight vs Inches

My long term goal is to lose my excess weight and to maintain it. In the short term, I am bridesmaid at a wedding is approx 10 days, my dress *almost* does up - how likely do you think it is that I'll fit into my dress? Bearing in mind, I've only just started the programme, how many inches...
  159. C

    Hiya, yet another newbie here

Thanks for all the replies and support guys, :D I'm still hanging on and not having too many problems yet. Why didn't I know about this programme years ago?? I will be weighing in after only 4 days this week, do you think I'll still see some progress?
  160. C

    Hiya, yet another newbie here

I'm not finding it as difficult as expected! No hunger either (lucky us!). I've alwaysdrunk a lot of water so that part is pretty easy for me and as I've been low carbing for a while now haven't suffered any headaches! I must be very lucky! Is pepper allowed? that sounds like a good addition to...
  161. C

What time do you take your shakes?

I'm a by-the-seat-of-my-pants-shaker as you put it (I love that!), and although I'm only on day two, have been finding approx 7.30am, 1.30 pm and 8pm suit me.
  162. C

    Hiya, yet another newbie here

A quick introduction... Like many, my weight has yo-yo'd over the years and now I find myself at 15st1 and unhappy about my health, appearance and general wellbeing. I I was introduced to Lipotrim by my friend LincsBren and started TFR on August 3rd (so I'm only aproaching the end of my...
