As long as it's 'fresh' and not preserved in oil or sweetened in any way, I can't see why it wouldn't be free - it must surely be classed as a vegetable.

Where the bargains are at and anything else thats useful.

I'm with supergran on this - went to our Lidl and they only had the Vegetarian ones for 99p. I spoke to the manager and he'd not heard of the R&RO ones coming in - they're certainly not on this week's specials. Perhaps someone got a bit mixed up or, perhaps one Lidl somewhere had an incorrect...

Treats That Are Completely FREE or Half A Syn???

I'm assuming you mean sweet treats - don't forget a treat is really subjective - I for instance love hot or cold roasted butternut squash and that's free! A while ago, someone posted the recipe for home-made jelly sweets (like haribo). I think they were very low syn - check out the Recipe...

Anyone Got A Steam Mop Please?

I'm thinking of getting a steam mop but hoped that some of you might be able to give me your reviews (warts & all). I've seen the Vapour Mop X700 and the H2O Mop X5 - both on the shopping channels and am sorely tempted but with being £100 thought I'd try to get some advice first. The H2O X5...

    Grrr Kids :-(

Sorry but if they've got away with this behaviour so far so, it can't be too surprising. I'd put a stop to it by sitting them down, calmly & politely telling them their fortune & educating them that they shouldn't expect something for nothing in this life. If they don't pull their fingers...
