    I'm on day 7 and feel really irritable. Tomorrow is weigh in. I was really snappy with my mum last night even though she'd done nothing to warrant it, I had to phone back and apologise later that night. I hate being victim to my moods! I hope you feel better soon *hug*

    Day 5 is over and gone. It was my worst yet. I wanted to break but I didn't. Now day 6 and the weekend... Hold on tight!

    One is some kind of mosaic kit and the other is to make a seaagrass stool. Not sure how either will go as I'm not usually good with my hands.

    I went out today and bought myself a load of craft kits, not sure if they'll do any good but I was climbing the walls.

    when will i stop feeling hungry

    The first week is the hardest. I'm on day 4 and don't feel hungry but I still miss food. Just take it one day at a time, think of things you need to do and try and distract yourself. I think it is getting easier in one respect (hunger) but harder in another (missing eating).

    They really are the worst! I'm hoping as I started on Monday that the thought of getting through another week will pull me through Sunday.

    I can't have kids, which is part of the reason I'm on this diet, to see if it improves my chances. I'm struggling today as I feel quite down and would really like something to eat. I'm not hungry but I know it'll take a lot for me to psychologically detach from eating, it was my main comfort...

    I'm on day 4 and I think I went into ketosis yesterday as I woke up with a weird taste in my mouth and didn't feel particularly hungry yesterday. The only thing I find hard is knowing what to do with myself now I'm not eating or cooking, never realised food played such a huge part in my life.

    Day 3 is over and day 4 has now begun. I think I'm in ketosis as I had a weird taste in my mouth earlier and I'm not hungry (but still missing food). I'm halfway to a week! Just need to get through today now...

    I gulp mine down. The first day I hated the taste, I realised on day two that cold water was the answer, now I can make them last... oh, a whole minute!

    Just a tip for anyone about to start

    I don't work so the weekend, when my husband is off work, is actually a better time for me as we go out and do things together. It is during the week when I think about food the most. I'm on day 3 now and think it's getting better.

    Medication?

    I'm officially on day 3 now but have suddenly thought (a little late!) about the fact I'm on regular (capsule) medication. The pharmacist didn't say anything about my Meds but I'm now worrying my capsules will prevent me going in ketosis! 3am is the best time to worry.

    It's gone midnight so it must officially be day 3. It's been harder than I imagined and today and yesterday crawled by. I've thrown most of my food away so as not to be tempted any time soon but I think about food 24/7 atm (and only live 5 mins from a 24hr supermarket!). I want to get through...

    One day down...

    Thanks Waterworks. I keep thinking of little things I can reward myself with after each week, but it's only day two and right now I am really struggling. My husband had soup for dinner and I can smell it even now (hours later!). I think I'll go look at some jewellery he can buy me to say sorry! lol

    Thanks guys! Day two is nearing its end and so far I've not broken down! Going to try and keep busy this week. If I can get through this week I'll be mighty proud of myself. If I finish week one I'm going to buy myself a rather nice brooch I've been wanting.

    I have to admit it is nearly 2am and I am in bed thinking about food. I have the will power of a small child offered a pile of presents (next to none) but I seem to have got through day one. I want to at least make the week but I'm not going to fool myself that it's easy. I have to confess that...
