    Just because it's fat free or sugar free does mean a food will be free. Some fat free yogurts have syns cos they're full of sugar to make them taste better. Things like sugar free jelly also have syns. Like wolf says if in doubt always check the book or online for the syns of something.

    I always make sure I have loads of frozen veg in to add to my meals. I went through a phase of having spiralised veg instead of pasta rice etc. It can be a bit expensive though if you're buying it in rather than doing it yourself. Since oh started doing sw I don't bother cos he won't eat it!

    It's nice to have the little boost. I think I'll probably try a couple every week. I really liked having things like courgette spaghetti, Cauliflower rice and butternut squash noodles instead of carbs with my usual meals.

    You get 1hea on SP days and 2Heb. It's recommended to only do a few SP days a week to boost your weight loss. I did 3 last week after two days off plan and lost half a pound when I probably would have gained otherwise.

    You could still do red/green days if you remember what's free on which day. There's people in my group who still do the old plans. There is also the new SP plan which is very similar to the old red days and success express if you ever did that.

    I still use things like stock, spices and dressings on SP days. I would check your book on cottage cheese cos I'm not certain on that. I do know quark is a protein food. I've just done three days of SP and really enjoyed it. Just be organised with your food is my tip.
